I hope you're having an excellent day. Today, I'll show you how to make an adorable butterfly fridge magnet, perfect for decorating your kitchen, giving to friends, or adding a splash of color to your spaces. Ideal for beginners and lovers of stylish crafts!

Next, I'll show you step by step how I made my project. I'll start by displaying the materials.

Foami blanco / white foami

Comenzamos recortando cuatro cuadrados de foami, dos grandes y dos más pequeños, con los cuales crearemos las alas. Los doblamos por la mitad, quedando en forma triangular, y recortamos la punta redondeándola. Luego, haremos tres cortes curvos desde la base, siguiendo la forma del ala.

We start by cutting 4 foam squares—two large and two smaller ones—which we will use to make the wings. We fold them in half, forming a triangle, and trim the tip to round it off. Then, we make three curved cuts from the base, following the wing’s shape.

A continuación, pegaremos con silicona cada punta, a excepción de la del centro. Luego, la volteamos y llevamos las dos puntas del centro hacia el otro extremo, fijándolas con silicona. Después de repetir este proceso con las cuatro partes, uniremos una grande con una pequeña y tendremos listas las alas.

Next, we will glue each tip with silicone, except for the center one. Then, we flip it over and bring the two center tips to the other end, securing them with silicone. After repeating this process with all four parts, we will attach a large one to a small one, and the wings will be ready.

Pasamos ahora a realizar el cuerpo de la mariposa. Para esto, recortaremos varias tiras y las enrollaremos sobre sí mismas, pegando una a continuación de la otra. Recortamos dos finas tiras, las enrollamos en la punta y las colocamos en un extremo del cuerpo para crear las antenas. Luego, fijamos las alas a este y colocamos debajo un pequeño imán.

Now we will make the butterfly’s body. For this, we will cut several strips, roll them up, and glue them one after another. We cut two thin strips, roll the tips, and place them at one end of the body to create the antennae. Then, we attach the wings to it and place a small magnet underneath.
