Secret Tank Heal Combo: Kitty and Silenced Minions
Greetings everyone and welcome to another Splinterlands post, this week we are going to talk about the strongest brawl combo in the game for "Back to Basics" ruleset. For those of you who do not know back to basics is a ruleset where are your minions lose their abilities, which can be problematic. However, in this case you can actually gain the upperhand rather easily with one of Untamed's classic summoners (Byzantine Kitty). Byzantine Kitty grants tank heal AND true strike to your whole lineup, both of these abilities make a HUGE different in this ruleset where all minions are deprived of their abilities that normally make them strong. In this ruleset where the Archons/Summoners are the only cards that lend their abilities to the lineup Kitty is one of the best there is. Period.

How to pull it off? Are there better summoners?
So this combo takes A) the ruleset "back to basics" being present B) Byzantine Kitty and C) your largest meat shields in your collection put towards the front. An important key piece to this combo is the fact you actually put melee magic and ranged minions in their appropriate positions (ideally in descending order of HP). Failing to do so can result in a loss to a properly arranged lineup. Don't get me wrong though, his isn't a particularly hard "combo". It's actually one of the easiest to achieve mechanically, I'm not going to act like it's a very intricate maneuver. It's a blunt tool that is strong at what it does and one of the strongest blunt combos in Splinterlands. Below is an example of me performing this combo, as explained above.

Note: There are better summoners in this ruleset, but not many. There are cards like Yodin Zaku that grant blast to your whole lineup and certain modern summoners that apply abilities that are rather strong across the board. This combo is just one of the stronger ones. Is it the best back to basics summoner? Probably not, but it is definitely one of the strongest.
There are keywords that prevent healing that newer summoners have available to them. These summoners will be a direct counter to the "Basic Kitty Combo" but they are unlikely to be used in the ruleset UNLESS they see that you abuse the Byzantine Kitty in many of your previous lineups (pretty easy to do, it's a strong summoner even outside of this niche use case).

Talking Tidbits: Back in the Saddle
There is a lot to talk about in the tidbits this week. Where do I even begin? Well I guess I'll start by saying I've been having a fun time streaming Splinterlands with you guys recently, lot of fun and engagement. You folks really rock and make it quite the activity. I laughed quite a bit, I cried, I punched myself in the face. A grand ol' time, truly. Thank you all for the tips, gifts, giveaways, and everything else that all goes towards improving the quality of my content on Twitch. I don't think I'll be making much youtube content for Splinterlands though sadly. Probably start making some 3speak stuff though, addressing the basics and sortof tutorializing people with the game if I have to reference it. So stay tuned for that. I also apologize that I still call the Archon cards summoners sometimes (old habits die hard and I'm a bit of a veteran at this game so it'll be hard to unlearn the old lingo). Anyways I'm rambling, and this isn't really relevant to the "combo" theme of this post haha.
Thanks for reading, looking at, upvoting, hell just not outright vomiting on your keyboard at this post. You all rock and are what make posting to HIVE worth it. Don't forget that one of you who comment on this post will get an SBI unit sent to you after this post pays out. Keep on rocking and I will see you all in the Splinterlands Battlemages.

Thanks for sharing! - @cieliss
