Pizza Brawl: Pepperoni, With Extra Victory

Hello and greetings. Cryptoniusrex here with another PIZZA brawl report, it has been a while. I am going to highlight my last brawl with PIZZA 2: The Deep Dish (despite it not being this weeks brawl), as I have been promoted to PIZZA 1 to help in the brawls there. This brawl was a resounding victory across the board for PIZZA 2, and I have no doubt they will continue to do well in my absence. The fights for this brawl are here, here, and here. I was undefeated in this instance, but I was not alone among PIZZA 1 and PIZZA 2's excellent brawlers. This week I will be analyzing the fight I found the most interesting from this brawl that showcases a previous unused Gladius card.

Highlight Fight: Sarius the Slayer

In the fight located here I used Molten Ash Golem and Sarius. No melee OR magic in this lineup, but my Molten Ash Golem's high lvl 1 hp was of his benefits in the "no armor" ruleset. This minor hp difference was the difference between defeat and victory in this case (also luck played a key factor due to the opponent's "dodge" ability).

Sarius displayed very well that for a 3 cost card she is a formidable backline adversary. In this case she killed both units, and in a grander scale skirmish she would likely have more opportunities to utilize bloodlust (not jut those two).

This was a quick and brutal engagement, and could have been just as quick and just as brutal in the other direction.
