CGRF Sponsorship Proposal - September 2025 Batch
The purpose of this proposal is to determine if the SPS DAO would like to officially sponsor Web3 gamers that were negatively impacted by the shutdown of Stella Fantasy, Embersword, Shatterline, Nyan Heroes, Deadrop, Synergy of Serra and Chains of War via the Crypto Gaming Recovery Fund. If this proposal passes, eligible players will be able to visit a claim page made available by the Splinterlands team to verify ownership of an impacted wallet for a period of 90 days from the launch of the Sponsorship program.
The SPS DAO will allocate the following shares of the Crypto Gaming Recovery Fund as follows:
- Up to 300,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Stella Fantasy. No wallet will receive more than 300 shares.
- Up to 150,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Embersword. No wallet will receive more than 150 shares.
- Up to 100,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Shatterline. No wallet will receive more than 100 shares.
- Up to 300,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Nyan Heroes. No wallet will receive more than 300 shares.
- Up to 200,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Deadrop. No wallet will receive more than 200 shares.
- Up to 100,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Synergy of Serra. No wallet will receive more than 100 shares.
- Up to 150,000 shares will be allocated to applicants from Chains of War. No wallet will receive more than 150 shares.
- Distribution will be done on a best efforts basis based on a snapshot of the wallets relative to the projects announcement of closure of sunsetting of development.
- Individual share allocations will be determined by the average token and NFT holdings of all eligible applicant's wallets that apply for Crypto Gaming Recovery Fund sponsorship relative to other applicants from the same project.
Sponsorship shares are based on an assessment of the projects overall size and valuation at the time of closure by the CGRF Committee.
All CGRF Sponsorship Proposals are run for 7 days and if passed the approval is final.
Can you please explain why the sps dao hive account is not the beneficiary of the rewards from these posts, just like they are on the official splinterlands account?
This hive account is not owned by the splinterlands team or the sps dao. Why are these posts not just being made from the sps dao account? It is the sps dao who is funding this, and sponsoring these proposals.
Fracturing these posts on different accounts is messy, and difficult for people to follow. They all belong on the sps dao account, and makes it easier for everyone to follow.
It's meant to be bigger than just Splinterlands and the SPS DAO. We're actually looking to onboard other projects to help make this initiative bigger. As far as the account ownership. The SPS DAO owns the account and it would be turned over if the SPS DAO chose someone else to manage it. Feel free to follow the account or don't, the posts asking for DAO approval of projects will be shown in game and should provide an alert that a new proposal is available if you'd like to check it out.
Can you please also Add REALMS OF ALURYA Game. i know people who lost more then $20k and these players love web3 might come to play Splinterlands. i lost around $8000 in this game.
