Hello Hive gaming community! I continue to update my Splinterlands diary today. I didn't post for a while but I still keep playing Splinterlands daily. As a result, my cards have increased and I upgraded some of them to the next level. My level has increased from Bronze to Silver II and I joined a guild. Playing in Silver II has increased the chests I earn and push me more to level up my play. There were many updates to my game that make it inspiring to play everyday.

I still play other games on Hive Splinterlands is the game I play the most.

New Cards

There are new cards I got from playing daily.

• Barthalamas
• Fire archon
• Level 2
• Gold foil

The archon's level is essential. The higher the level of archon, the higher units the player can use. At first I was wondering why my units are still level one when I play. It's because the archon is still at level one and units follow the limits of the archon level.

• Dread Tafarian
• Earth unit

• Gold foil

Single copies of gold foil cards are already at a higher level and they look better than regular ones. The lion is a defensive card and can heal itself automatically.

• Glimmermancer
• Earth unit
• Epic
• Level 1

This is an entirely new card apart from the ones in the missions. What sets this card as special is it's 2 attack. There are not many magic attacks in the Earth element. This unit adds to the Earth's weapons.

• Spitting Camel
• Water unit
• Common
• Level 3
• Gold foil

The camel is a card I use very rare. I saw in some battles this card in position one to soak attacks.

• Colossus Raider
• Water unit
• Common
• Level 3
• Gold foil

The raider has a cool pirate design. It can reach behind another unit and has 2 attack.

These are my prized cards that I got from playing. There are many more regular foils that I have. I play daily to upgrade my archons and unlock the full power of my gold cards. I see a lot of posts sharing their battles. I have exciting battles myself. At first I lost a lot then I started copying the card positions of opponents and I began to win more games.

I saw some players sharing battles in posts. I will also do the same and copy their format.

Ruleset

Shades of Grey: Only neutral units maybe used
Counterspell: All units have magic reflect (returns 50% of magic damage to attacker)

The ruleset doesn't allow other colors to be used in battle, only grey color is allowed. It also penalize the use of magic units.

Featured cards

In choosing cards, there are not many options. I just chose any grey cards available. I tried to avoid choosing magic but there are no better units to choose. For the archon, I chose my level 2 fire archon.

We almost had the same team. The difference is I had Spellmonger. I didn't appreciate this unit before because it has no attack but I lost battles against other players who has him in their team. It attracts Vengeful Monk and returns the damage taken. From then on, I use Spellmonger in my battles too.

I will not go in detail what happened every round. The important round was in the third.

I thought I would lose because I had less units and I cursed my luck for losing when I had higher level units. But the returned attacks also killed his units and the battle ended in a draw. I felt relief that I didn't mess up this time.

I learn much from every battle and I try to improve my choosing of units and position them in proper order.
