Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 349//LAVA LAUNCHER
For this weeks contest I have decided to give the Lava Launcher a try. I have never attempted this one before, but it looked like it would be a lot of fun. Usually I make animations, but this one looked much better as a still image.
I used this image for my refence and as usual I used Poser13 to create my piece.
I started out with a red sky, I thought the red sky would work good considering that I wanted the scene to look red hot.
Next I added a ground and made it red so that it would look hot.
Next I made a 3d model of my Lava Launcher and added it to the scene.
Then I added a texture map to it, so it would look more realistic.
I placed my Lava Launcher in the scene where I wanted it to be and added some flame to the ground.
One flame didn't give me the impact that I wanted so I decided to add more.
I needed a goblin to drive the Launcher, so I created a 3D goblin and added him to the scene.
I placed the Goblin on the launcher.
Then I added texture to him.
What is a Lava Launcher if it's not launching anything? So I added flame to the launcher.
Finally I added a molten rock on the end of the flame so that it would look like it was fired from the Launcher. My wife told me that my goblin was super ugly, but judging from the scene I would say he's pretty hot lol.
