Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 346//TARSA

for this weeks contest I am going with a character that I have never attempted before, I also wanted to try out one of my anime characters, and I thought Tarsa would be a good character to try it out.

I used this image as my reference and as usual I used poser 13 to make this piece.

I started out with a simple plain orange background

I wanted the background to be animated, so I added streaks and painted the image different colors so it would look good in a animation.

Usually I prefer 3D to 2d animations, but because I was using an anime character I thought I would go with a 2d look. Plus for some reason 2d just seemed to look better. So I added my anime woman.

Finally I added the light effects and hands to my character. At first I thought it was going to take a long time to make the light effects, but It was over in a flash lol.
