Pain of injustice

And when you see apparent injustice and you wake up to it, we can assume that what you see hurts you. It hurts! When we look into the world, when we see and find many things that hurt us.

The world is the mirror of ourselves. And when it hurts, we can smash the mirror. We can even believe we have to destroy the mirror so we no longer have to see and endure this injustice. That's an option that usually doesn't work well.

The other option, if you've heard of self-contact, is to feel the pain triggered within us by events in the external world. And to go inward with that pain. That's the only intelligent option. Because pain is part of being human. And pain has only one function: to lead us deeper into ourselves—into our deeper inner center.
