New collection

The community is celebrating with the announcement of the new card collection for the game #Splinterlands! The new set of NFTs was called Conclave Arcana, and I was already hooked by the name! I was very excited to see the changes that will be introduced to the game's dynamics by the new cards that are about to arrive!

According to the official publication, a total of 82 cards will be added to the game world:

  • 24 Common cards
  • 29 Rare cards
  • 14 Epic cards
  • 15 Legendary cards

In addition, nine new abilities were listed that will be present from now on. This will change everything! New strategies will be created and we will have to try new combinations, which makes the game "new" again!

We also have news in the purchase of packs, which from now on will be available in three new types, totaling 4 pack formats!

We are currently working on the traditional pack market, and one of the most popular is the Chaos Legion collection, which is being sold for 2.32 HIVE. Will these prices go up or down? It is uncertain at the moment!

Goodbye Chaos Legion

The Chaos Legion collection will be discontinued in modern mode. It will make room for the new Arcane Conclave collection. What happens at first is that for the vast majority of players, the deck will be drastically reduced.

According to splintercards.com, my Rebellion deck is currently limited, which means I'll be at a disadvantage very soon! There are only a few cards, and they're low-level!

I don't plan on pre-ordering many packs of the new set. I'm guessing I'll buy around 4 or 5 Conclave Arcana packs to get a decent start. I'll have serious problems with summoners from now on!

Demand for cards, both for purchase and rental, should fluctuate greatly after the set's release.

This is all part of adding excitement to the game!

Card rental

The first thing we will do when the new collection is released is to open the packs purchased in pre-sale. We will immediately start to upgrade the cards and most likely the players who invested more will be able to launch rentals of the new cards, charging absurdly high prices.

It's the same when a new iPhone is released.

For those of us who are going to buy a few units of packs, it would be interesting to have a strategy of renting cards that may be of interest to third parties, for example if we get a legendary card and many other golden ones.

I will not apply this strategy because I intend to accumulate everything possible to be able to play in ranked battles. I know that I will drop in the ranking, at least in the first season, and will start to rise again from the second week, maybe in the third week.

I intend to play a lot to get as much GLINT as possible.

SPS scarce

SPS rent may also become scarce, this is another problem that I will not be able to get around and I will have to face my decision to fund my account using SPS received in battles. If I could accumulate, I would have done so, but I could not and I have little SPS in Stake.

This should be my goal for the next seasons: to accumulate SPS!

Nova coleção

A comunidade está em festa com o anúncio da nova coleção de cards do game #Splinterlands! O novo conjunto de NFTs foi chamado de Conclave Arcana, e já me conquistou pelo nome! Fiquei muito animado em ver as mudanças que serão introduzidas na dinâmica do jogo pelos novos cards que estão para chegar!

De acordo com a publicação oficial, serão um total de 82 cards adicionados ao mundo do jogo:

Adeus Chaos Legion

A coleção Chaos Legion será descontinuada do modo moderno. Ela abrirá espaço para a nova coleção Conclave Arcana. O que acontece num primeiro momento é que para a imensa maioria dos jogadores, o baralho será reduzido drasticamente.

De acordo com o site splintercards.com, o meu baralho Rebellion atualmente está limitado, o que significa que irei ficar em situação de desvantagem muito em breve! São poucos cards, e com level baixo!

Eu não pretendo comprar muitos packs da nova coleção na pré-venda. Suponho comprar algo em torno de 4 ou 5 packs Conclave Arcana para ter um começo minimamente decente. Terei problemas graves com invocadores daqui por diante!

A procura por cards tanto em compra como em aluguel deve sofrer grandes variações logo após o lançamento da coleção.

Tudo isso faz parte da adição de emoção ao jogo!

Aluguel de cards

A primeira coisa que faremos quando o lançamento da nova coleção ocorrer é abrir os packs comprados na pré-venda. De imediato começaremos a upar os cards e muito provavelmente os jogadores que investiram mais terão condições de lançar aluguéis dos novos cards, cobrando valores absurdamente altos.

É igual quando lançam um novo iPhone.

Para nós que vamos comprar poucas unidades de packs, seria interessante uma estratégia de alugar cards que possam ser de interesse de terceiros, por exemplo se conseguirmos um card lendário e outros tantos dourados.

Eu não vou aplicar essa estratégia pois pretendo acumular tudo que for possível para conseguir jogar nas batalhas ranqueadas. Sei que vou desabar no ranking, pelo menos na primeira temporada, e começarei a subir novamente a partir da segunda semana, talvez na terceira semana.

Pretendo jogar muito para conseguir o máximo de GLINT possível.

SPS escasso

O aluguel de SPS pode se tornar escasso também, isso é outro problema que eu não terei como contornar e precisarei enfrentar a minha decisão de financiar minha conta usando SPS recebido em batalhas. Se eu pudesse acumular, teria feito isso, porém não consegui e tenho pouco SPS em Stake.

Essa deve ser minha meta para as próximas temporadas: acumular SPS!

Eu tenho uma relação de amor e ódio com Splinterlands. Por um lado, estou animado com as novidades que estão chegando: novas cartas, habilidades inéditas e, quem sabe, até mudanças na jogabilidade. Parece que os invocadores não serão mais limitados aos Splinters tradicionais, o que pode permitir a utilização de monstros de diferentes Splinters com um mesmo invocador — isso promete deixar o jogo ainda mais estratégico e interessante.

Por outro lado, estou preocupado com a desvalorização das cartas da Chaos Legion, que provavelmente vão cair bastante de preço. Ao mesmo tempo, as cartas da Rebellion e da nova coleção tendem a ser bem mais caras, tanto para comprar quanto para alugar. Com esse novo sistema de aluguel por temporada, tudo ficou mais caro, e praticamente não existem mais oportunidades de bid nos aluguéis. Isso me deixa sinceramente frustrado.

A única vantagem é que isso beneficia quem já tem essas cartas — dá um incentivo real para os jogadores investirem em cartas próprias, pelo menos temporariamente.

Exatamente!

E pelo que tenho notado, as recompensas (de cards) tem tido cada vez menos valor, até porque tem que pagar para desbloquear, então não tem valor nenhum praticamente zero a zero. Mas isso a gente não escreve em ingles.
