Good work! This is super meticulous documentation. However, the point I would highlight is that land appreciation and NFT collection value is about the only 'value appreciation' here, no? I mean, the payouts for holding seem minimal.
The strength of dcrops is its passive, casual interface. You need no skills almost, just check in like you're reading emails in your inbox. Picking crops isn't a hard thing to do, just buy seeds. I hope to see mini games out of this one. The land NFTs are going to be extremely valuable if the project grows bigger and more interactive. At this time, land NFTs are a steal at their current prices. Alpha packs are also a steal if you manage to get Hi Tech land.
If I had a hundred or so dollars to spend, I'd buy 2 packs if I can afford them and open them. Then buy Awesome Lands and Hi Tech. Then hold and don't play.
Yes it is, my profit is mainly due to the value of the assets in my possession and not their holding.
If I consider only the game rewards in 8 months I have earned about 34 SWAP.HIVE which is still about 25% of my initial investment. This result is still a very good result but the fact that I entered the game from the beginning has allowed me to reach a much higher profit and Roi.

It could be a right move but only if the game will become very played in the future and increase the player base.
Right now I wouldn't buy hi-tech lands because they cost so much and in my opinion the price is overestimated better to buy the land based on the criterion Cost per Plot.
