Social Media Challenge: Life at Gold League

Hello Splinterfam! Here I am back again for this week's social media challenge. For this week's challenge, I decided to share my experience in Gold League. This is my first time here in Gold League with a silver deck level. During my early days of playing Splinterlands I played in Gold League using rented cards, back then there was no chaos legion edition yet and the rent was so expensive so I only rent 1 element based on my daily quest. Back then there was a daily quest instead of daily focus. For those of you who are new here I mainly play on silver league modern format so mostly the strategies and battles I talk about are mostly about the silver league only, but since I play now on gold league I may tackle every now and then topics regarding the gold league.

The early season I played on silver league for a few days because it is still early to go up a league because players who are mostly playing have gold level cards so basically my win rate would be affected thus affecting my daily chests. Now let me compare rewards I received from the silver league and rewards I received from playing in the gold league.

It is still my first day battling in gold league and as you can see I only farmed 6 chest because I am losing a lot compared to my battles in silver league the early days of the season wherein I would farm 10 chest daily. It is still early to say where it is best to farm chest but for me I think I would have a greater chance at acquiring good rarity of cards because as you can see in my first reward in gold, I acquired 2 epic cards Noa the just. Yeah the chest I am acquiring are fewer compared to what I am receiving in silver league but the quality I am having is good. It is still early in the season and I am hoping to increase my win rate in the coming days because from my experience, later in the season opponents fought tends to have silver level cards and with that I would have a better chance at winning a battle.

Conclusion

The rewards from gold are better than silver I just need to win more to obtain more chest. The drop rates also for the new soulbound reward cards are also insanely good. It would take to many days to complete a silver level soulbound reward cards since you can't buy it in the marketplace. If I continue to have a low win rate in the coming days I may consider renting 1 or 2 elements gold level to further increase my win rate and the target is 10 chest on average. We'll see.
