My Strategy in building my own Silver Deck
Hello Splinterfam! I am back again for this week's Social Media Challenge. This week I decide to share my strategy on how I am building my own Silver Deck for Modern format for Silver League.
For those of you who are new here, I started playing Splinterlands around August 2021 at first I am renting cards and sometimes find it very frustrating because it takes a little too much of my time in renting cards so I decided to build my own deck if given the chance and capability since I am only an employee with not so high salary and also no other source of income, I only have only a few resources so I don't how I could build my own deck.
At first I play on rented cards and I always saved the profit I got in form of Dec, Reward cards, and Sps airdrop hoping that one day I could use them to build my own deck. Then came the release of Chaos Legion Packs, I spent all the Dec I earned on packs and got a few good cards (No Legendary Gold Foils Though) but still decent cards.
The strategy I use is that every payday I would allocate some funds to Splinterlands by purchasing cards or purchasing packs. I spend at least 5,000 - 6,000 Php a month that is roughly around 80$ - 100$ a month more or less. If I got good cards from a pack, I always sell it and buy cards I needed to build the element I am focusing on building. First I built Water deck then Death, After Death I focused on Earth then Fire. I built a decent deck of those element which consist of Chaos Legion and Riftwatcher Cards. Currently, I am building Life now and I just finished leveling up Grandmaster Rathe, (a Legendary Life Summoner) up to Silver level.
Building your own deck is fun especially when you see how much you've progressed. Looking back to the state you were in in the past months, it brings me much joy knowing that I am a little close in achieving my goal to have my own silver deck, that at first I thought was impossible for me, but with perseverance and determination you can achieve what you set yourself up to. After building my deck I plan on joining tournaments and maybe someday build a deck for Gold League, We never know what the future would hold for us Splinterlands players but for sure it would be a bright one.
