Splinterlands - Social Media Challenge - Battle of Bloodline Monsters

Enjoying the Saturday? Well, it was a nice one for me with most of my day went with some office work and then a family outing for dinner as it is a Saturday.

I have my younger son's Birthday tomorrow and I can't wait to have a celebration and also make him happy with fulfilling his little dreams.

I couldn't resist myself writing a Second blog on Social Media Challenge and here I go with another nice battle as always and this time, I am sharing another battle of bloodline monsters although different summoners used by me and my opponent.

I can say it's a battle of Katrelba Gobsons or battle of green monsters as both of us used Earth splinter monsters.

It's a battle of 40 MANA cost cap and since enough MANA was there, I though of using a Dragon splinter summoner in Helios Matriarch as Dragon splinter has many nice opportunity as well as sneak attack monsters along with some of the nicest ranged attack monsters too.

The battle had 3 rule sets in stampede, unprotected and lost legendaries.

Let me introduce the monsters used by me.

Lineup:

1. Mycelic Slipspawn:

With Katrelba Gobson in my ranks in this battle, I planned to use this monster at front to attract all of my opponent's attack towards it because of this monster having taunt ability.

The plan was a good one with opponent too using a Katrelba Gobson and using this in front position, I could save my backend monsters from Katrelba Gobson atleast for a round.

2. Thane Newsong

The Newsong was used to help all melee attack monsters gain more attack as this monster have inspire ability to help my melee attack monsters gain an additional attack.

It also induces speed and will strengthen to increase health by 1.

3. Supply Runner:

Another monster with swift ability to increase the speed.

This is also useful with 3 useful ranged attack and it too have the strengthen ability to increase health.

4. Katrelba Gobson:

The bloodline monster which is truly a great one to have and is on par with Quora Towershead.

It's double attack which is a sneak attack is always a dangerous one and when it is not stopped early, it can't be stopped at all later!!!

5. Dhampir Infiltrator:

Another double attack monster which can even cripple the health and also makes a monster lose it's heal ability with affliction ability.

6. Naga Assassin:

The last monster in my lineup is the ranged attack monster of Naga Assassin.

This monster is with swift and backfire abilities.

It's used in last position mainly to utilize it's backfire ability and this was a good one against Katrelba Gobson used by my opponent as this could backfire when Katrelba failed to attack and helped other monsters to get rid of the monster.

That's the lineup for me and my opponent too had almost similar lineup barring couple of different monsters.

But Katrelba Gobson when on song, can't be stopped and slow and swift ability combination monsters used by me, gave an advantage to attack early and be victorious.

The guild monsters with bloodline ability are always a good one to have in any kind of battles and I especially enjoy using Katrelba Gobson as I keep using it and win many battles.
