Splinterlands - Social Media Challenge - A Battle of Water Splinters

It's a Friday and we are already anticipating a weekend and for some of us, it will be a long weekend here in India as Monday might be a holiday for some of the companies and next Friday is also a holiday being a Good Friday!!!

So, it is a week of holidays and time to spend some time with family by having a short trip or just a family reunion!!!!

Well, it's also time to write a blog on Social Media Challenge as we have a new challenge up for social media challenge and also not to forget the Conclave Arcana edition details are published with some new exciting features and abilities also getting introduced.

If you haven't got a chance to review the details yet, I would say it's better to review once as the price of DEC is already on the rise as that is One of the modes of payments for packs!!!

I am already in the process of converting my HBD to Hive and then to DEC via Hive Engine and I know I won't have enough DEC but I would like to buy atleast 100 packs from the pre sale.

I am sharing a battle of Water splinters for this week's social media challenge with details for the same as below.

Battle and Lineup:

This battle was with 26 MANA cost with 3 rule sets lost legendaries (no legendary monsters allowed to be used in the battle), deflection field (deflect ability for all monsters to not to have reflection attack from blast) and ferocity (fury ability for all monsters o attack with double force on a monster with taunt ability).

The little league kind of battle this was and the monsters I used were as below.

Lineup:

1. Diemonshark:

Diemonshark is by far one of the most used Water splinter monsters from Chaos Legion edition and this monster is very useful with it's trample, enrage, retaliate abilities as it will be very furious against melee attack monsters and when combined with Merdaali Guardian, it will be very lethal.

I always use Merdaali Guardian for tank heal and repair abilities which always help Diemonshark to regain health and armors and keeps it active for longer time in the battle.

2. Tide Biter:

A perfect ally to Diemonshark is this Tide Biter as it will give 3 melee attack for just 3 cost and is with reach ability and can avoid getting hit with blast or reflection attacks as it is with reflection shield ability.

3. Riverboat Captain:

It's always a nice one to have with it's ability to afflct to stop the healing and with it's blast ability, it can attack 2 monsters at a time and give 3+2 magic attack.

It's on the lower side of the speed, but the blast and number of magic attack makes up for that.

4. Merdaali Guardian:

Another must have from water splinter is this Merdaali Guardian as it will restore the armors and also restore the health of front monster to keep helping it battle out more rounds and keeps Second line monsters active.

Although it's a no attack monster, it will make up with the 2 abilities and it is also with strengthen ability which gives +1 health to all monsters.

5. Igor Darkspear:

The last 2 MANA cost was filled with this monster of Igor Darkspear as it is with 3 ranged attack for just 2 cost and moreover, it has the ability of stun to stop the attack from the monster it attacks.

That rounds up the monsters I used in this battle.

It was a short battle with 6 rounds of battle it was and usage of Diemonshark and Riverboat Captain along with Merdaali Guardian and Igor Darkspear were the highlight in this battle.

Here I share few screenshots from the battle to provide a glimpse of how the battle was fought and also to give a glimpse of when the monsters were removed.

I still feel the same enthusiasm like I used to feel when I First started battling it out on Splinterlands as the new cards, abilities, rule sets keeps getting added and it is never a boring thing as for as Splinterlands is concerned. Do you agree with me?
