Splinterlands - 40K SPS Staked!!!

Hello Friends,

Being a diehard fan of Splinterlands since it's inception, it's been a rollercoaster journey for me so far with more happier days than those painful days when you just see that all the chests either have potions or some common cards.

And that joy got more in multi folds with the introduction of SPS couple of years back and those initial days after SPS introduction made me feel like I should be quitting my 9 to 5 job and concentrate full time on Splinterlands gaming because of the spike in SPS rate!!!

Well, that got busted and the price has been going down gradually with current price hovering around $0.018 per SPS right now!!!

Inspite of all this, SPS accumulation is an ongoing process because of the new rule of rewards based on staked SPS instead of collection power.

The staking of SPS has been in full swing with recently I could complete the staking of 40K SPS as shared in above screenshot, but hold on!!!! That's not the highest amount of SPS I have staked, I was once able to stake more than 50K SPS which has to be un-staked to pay for purchase of Chaos Legion edition packs in quest of earning those airdrops!!!

Yes, but, I am happy that I am slowly going back to that highest SPS mark again as I need to stake another 10K SPS for that.

In the total SPS holders list, I am almost in top 2000 highest SPS holders list as shared above and hopefully, I will get closer to top 1500 soon as I am not selling the SPS with staking everything I am earning right now since the price is almost at the bottom.

And in the top SPS staked players list too, I am close to top 2K people and that is something I am proud of inspite of unstaking almost 40K SPS to purchase the Chaos Legion packs.

Not sure with another edition of packs round the corner with Rebellion edition is being discussed to be introduced soon, whether I will be able to continue to hold on staking the SPS or may have to unstake some amount for purchasing the new edition packs.
