Splinterlands - 100 Chaos Legion Packs Purchase, Packs Opening Stats and Returns Calculation With Details of Cards I Got
Hello Splinterlands Battlers,
Very good day to all and here I am bringing another daily blog and this time, it's about Splinterlands and especially, it's about the Chaos Legion packs I purchased and opened today.
My hands were itching for this day as I could accumulate another 100 vouchers and brought same number of packs with 10 bonus packs given to me.
So, I decided open them straightaway without suppressing the temptation I had and here I share the stats of money spent and the returns I got for those 100 packs investment including the cost of vouchers as that seems to be some good amount as well and I would also like to share the details of cards from those 100110 packs!!!
Thanks to @monstermarket, we can have the stats instantly as the team of @zaku and @reazuliqbal made this possible for us to check the details instantly and here I am sharing the details of the 110 packs I opened today.

Ah, I know some of you may get discouraged after reading these next few lines, but, it happens some times.
Yes, I opened 110 packs including those 10 bonus packs and here I go with the details of the cost:
100 Packs purchased - $4 X 100 Packs = $400
Vouchers Cost-(1.49 Hive/voucher) - 1.49 X $1.68 X 100 = $250
Cost of Alchemy Potions - = $130
Cost of Legendary Potions - = $104
Total = $884
So, for the $884 investment, the returns I got was 500$ and burn value of the cards is mere $75!!!!
Now that's something which is a worrying factor and I although felt disappointed with this return (about $300 loss), but the consolation is that, the money I used for buying potions, buying 100 packs and even the cost voucher is all something part of the earnings from Splinterlands and that makes it bit relieved since I re-used the money I earned from the game and there is a loss incurred.
I have been thru the reverse thing as well where I just opened One pack to get a card worth $400 and this is all part and parcel of the game.
Well, time for me to get over the loss and cherish the cards I got from those 110 packs I opened in splits of 10, 20 or 30.
The First lot of cards I got and as we can see above, there were 4 Gold Foiled ones including an epic Tusk The Wide and a summoner in General Sloan.
The other 2 GF's being Scavo Hireling and Shadow Snitch.
I feel the summoner in General Sloan and epic Tusk The Wide fetched the good returns from this lot.
The Second set of cards can be seen from above screenshot and except for the Legendary Djinn Muirat and summoner Thaddus Brood, other cards were just low cost ones and I think this is where I incurred the loss.
As I shared sometime last week, I finally got couple of Gold Foiled Legendaries that time and those 2 are the only 2 I have got so far and yes, even if I would have got One atleast this time, I would have covered more than half of the losses I think.
The Third set of cards can be seen from above screenshot and this looks a bit more less returning set although there are 3 epic and 2 GF's, but are all less value ones.
Here comes the final set of cards and this looks better than the previous 2 with 2 legendaries in Ifrit Rising and Queen Mycelia and there are couple of gold foiled ones too in Venari Scout and Sacred Chemist.
It also has couple of regular summoners in Tarsa and Kelya Frendul with both supporting the monsters they summon by giving 2 different abilities as we can see.
I just feel it was not my day with these pack openings, but I could always cherish those cards I got as many of those helped me to level up my existing cards and have better stats when I go to battle as usual.
Thanks for going thru this and do share your feedback about your experience of opening the packs from Chaos Legion and whether you made the profit or incurred loss.

Better luck next time. Remember a gain/loss is not truly realized until the selling point so some of those card prices may recover. (Majority will probably dip due to more inflow of cards though tbh)

I totally agree with you.
Until all the Chaos Legion packs are not sold, the price will definitely keeps dipping as there will be more and more cards will be available for the battlers.
Yes, once the packs sale is over, there will be more chances of prices getting increased like we saw in case of Untamed ones.
Thanks and have a good day :)

congratulations
Thank you @alokkumar121, always appreciate the support from @splinterlands and the curators.
Awesome pull with the Queen Mycelia and gold cards. Chaos Legion cards have dipped in price recently but I hope they would appreciate in due time.
I totally agree, compared to Untamed edition cards, I feel Chaos Legion cards seems to lack the attraction although few of them are very good with some new abilities.
I guess the price will not stabilize until all the packs are sold.
This new edition of cards has many useless monsters, most of them do little damage or have a lot of life, therefore they are not a great advantage in battles and their value is low
Yep, less useful compared to Untamed edition ones.
Some of them are good ones and it will be wise to level up specific ones instead of buying more packs.
The are not really much compared my expectations.
Yeah, same with me.
Beta and Untamed cards still rules :)
