A Proud Moment For India As Harnaaz Sandhu Is Crowned Miss Universe 2021

India has been in the news off late with India's Prime Minister's comments on Cryptocurrencies, sad demise of Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat and others in a chopper crash and now comes another BIG news as India's Harnaaz Sandhu has been crowned Miss Universe 2021!!!!

Yes, it's a moment to cheer with Harnaaz Sandhu is becoming the Third Indian Miss Universe after Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000.

So, Harnaaz Sandhu has brought home the title after a gap of 21 years.

Harnaaz Sandhu was more confident when she answered the question asked to decide the winner with the question being the Advice to the young women on how to deal with pressure they face presently and the answer Harnaaz gave impressed all with answer being by her was to believe in self and not to compare self with others as all women are unique and can achieve the goal if one has self belief and she quoted herself as an example for reaching the finale of the beauty pageant.

Women nowadays are not far behind to men and they believe in themselves to achieve anything and Harnaaz was right in pointing those facts and ask others to believe in themselves and speak up to make a point and not to be shy.

Harnaaz was presented the the Miss Universe crown by last year's winner Andrea Meza and that was something Harnaaz will remember forever as she became the Third Indian to win the coveted crown.

Indian women have been shining in all the fields whether it's Information technology, serving the Armed Forces, leading in Politics or working in different industries such as banking, Governance or even winning contests like the one Harnaaz has won now.

Harnaaz Sandhu is basically from the Northwestern Indian state of Punjab and is a Post Graduate from Government College for Girls in Guruharsahai.

She has been participating in beauty pageants since she was young with winning pageants within Punjab before she went on to become Femina India Miss Punjab in 2019 and participated in Miss Diva 2021, a competition within India to decide Miss India for various World completions including Miss Universe.

While beauty pageant crowns are not new to India, every crown won will be special as the ladies will be representing India and representing and each and every girl/lady from India to upheld the respect/dignity each of the Indian women need and Harnaaz has brought us another laurel to the growing list of achievers and kudos to her.

With her win, Harnaaz Sandhu has brought India it's Third Miss Universe title and in all, it's the Tenth Beauty pageant title for India including 6 Miss World and a Miss Earth title.
