The Concept of "Nothingness" and the Origin of the Universe

When we begin the question of why/how did we exist, we majorly arrive at Big Bang as the creation of this universe, according to the Big Bang, our universe was caused and did not always exist.

So we ask, how was the Big Bang caused;

It came from Nothing;
I think we all agree that something cannot come out of absolute nothingness as far as the thinking of human mind is limited.

There was an infinite cycle of universes like ours;
Let’s first understand the idea of infinity;
Infinity is something you cannot add or subtract to I.e it does not have have a first or last member.

There are types of infinity now;

Forward infinity;
That there is no end but there was a beginning.
If there was a beginning, it has it have been an uncaused one since if it was caused, we will still have the question of “how was it caused” and we would get no where.

Backward infinity;
That there was no beginning but there is an end.
In the scenario of a backward infinity, a causal chain of caused bodies cannot exist by logic, I.e there cannot be a first member since by definition, the first member would be incomprehensibly far away or basically, it cannot exist, the moment it does exist, the chain does not remain infinite.

Same case with absolute infinity; I.e no forward or backward end.

There was an uncaused cause that caused this caused being into existence.
And this is what I’ve logically arrived on;

From here it’s a debate on what’s the uncaused cause of this universe.
We can just derive some attributes for the uncaused cause which are it being eternal, existing outside physical law and having the power to create.

We call it the “necessary being”.
Now there’s the question on what the necessary being can be;

Religions put it as God and it in my opinion is a strong case.

Scientifically it’s not really clear, there’s one quantum argument for a necessary being but it’s under heavy internal criticism.
So, that’s why I don’t believe in an infinite regress cycle of universes.

And basically have to arrive on an external uncaused cause that caused all of this.
Multiverse theory falls under the same argument, however it’s a decent one as of my current understanding against the Fine Tuning argument of theists.
