How To Complete Chpt. 12.3 Gertrude Chompsbury in the Splinterlands Campaign!

The first battle I put in, did not beat it but the second one beat him, I could not believe it! Make sure you visit the Splinterlands Discord as you can connect with other players in there about the game. This is the first team I put in after the advice to use the red team, but I had the wrong tank, so it did not work for me.

It is just crazy how much health and how much melee attack this serious monster card has! I did a double take when I saw it the first time and was like wth!? How am I supposed to win this? I mean all these little monsters get destroyed with just one hit from him! The dodge definitely comes in handy when battling against this crazy beast of a monster! I wish you all luck in battling this Chpt. 12.3 Gertrude Chompsbury and you might need it! Who knows if you have great luck in your RNG you might get lucky and beat it on your first try, who knows! Good luck!

I then went back and chose the red team again, but this time used the Scales of Justice as my tank. He has dodge which helped avoid a few hits! He has a 1 armor, 4 health, 4 speed with dodge and is 5 mana. They told me in the Splinterlands Discord to use the red team and try the taunt in first which I did but then also to the Scales card below in first position which is what I tried next, and it worked. They also said that RNG would take place so you can put in any team and sometimes it will win and sometimes it will lose. I think I got lucky putting in the second team and winning it on my first try! Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. You just have to try until you get it completed, so don't give up, you can do it!

I love this lizard looking card, it is so cool, the red team is what everyone said to use so I wonder if the red team is the strongest to use to get out of bronze? I will have to try to play red more and see what happens. I got some magic cards and though magic was the strongest, but we will see as I play more and more in the frontier mode.

This is the team I put in to beat that crazy beast of a monster:

The monster in second place is the Chaos Furybringer which has reach, a 2 health, 3 speed and 2 melee attack.

The monster in the third place is Lunaki Howler, which has a 1 magic attack, 4 health and 2 speed.

In the 4th position is the Vengeful Monk which has a 2-melee opportunity attack, 4 health, 2 speed.

The monster in the 5th position is Sturdy Axe Warden, he has a 2-range attack, 4 health, 2 speed and 8 mana.

The last monster I put in at the end is the Ash Archer. It has a 2-range attack, 3 health, 2 speed and 5 mana.

I was so happy to finally complete this Chapter in the campaign book! I literally thought I was never going to finish this Chapter 12.3 and only did so after reaching out to players in the Splinterlands Discord. Otherwise, I am sure I would still be putting in teams and getting so frustrated in the process! I am now finished, and it is a great feeling! I am however still in bronze; I am starting to level up my cards a bit, and hopefully I can get out of bronze one day!

It has been a bit hard for me to get out of bronze, so I collect my rewards I can get, but have been doing a little shopping here and there as well! I will show you what I got in my next video about the Frontier mode. I have had a lot of fun in playing this mode. I only play in wild mode and then do my Guild brawl battles as well. I also play in tournament too, when I remember to enter them that is! Sometimes, I will flee those, with big regret but it is always a great way to earn some SPS to battle anywhere! I will see you all next time with some more Frontier mode battling, opening a few Frontier packs and shopping a little bit for Frontier cards that I think will help me get out of bronze! I need to start leveling up all my cards as well. I wish you all luck in completing all your Chapters in the campaign!
