Wow, NFT exposed !
Just wow how some people in crypto use it to make money out of nothing !
I knew that NFTs have some hidden things on it. The first thing I always thought about, how they protect the copyright of that sold content. I even tested in one account to upload a picture from the web, but nothing happen. I mean my account wasn't blocked or something. I never sold something in form of NFT, maybe some people did that, but it's really crazy how those who are too much into it can make money out from nothing. And who knows, maybe they use copyrighted content.
The funny thing that some people say in twitter that he's not hurting anyone. But if someone is working in the team of that NFT provider and using it that way, so maybe it's not that good to do. Because people put real money in that, and that guy turns just using the system to profit from it. So, that hurts the value of all NFT world in this case.
Anyway, who I am to judge such people. I'm just a new guy to all this.
The main purpose of digital art NFTs is to show off your wealth to the general public. That sounds very silly, but a lot of things in the physical world have the same purpose, such as Lambo, Supreme, Gucci, and expensive paintings. NFTs are very effective at doing that in the online space; why post pictures of your Lambo, Rolex, etc., when you could just post a high end NFT that could be easily identified and authenticated.

Yeah, I may never understand that. Maybe an old style crypto guy, or I need someone to explain to me the value of NFT better. I especially don't see the value in them if someone can sell the same thing, I mean the same picture many times in many platforms and even if it's not his/her work. I really don't understand how they protect that from being stolen. Go to any NFT, download it and put it on sale. Or maybe the high quality is what they pay for, I don't understand really. Usually pictures put there are already in good quality. Maybe the highest quality of the picture is what they pay for. I don't really understand.
That’s not how NFTs work.
There’s only one genuine collection of Bored Ape Yacht Club and one genuine collection of CryptoPunks. No one or other collection can impersonate those collections. NFTs are not about aesthetics; they’re about authenticity. They are Unique and limited; that’s why they’re called non-fungible tokens.
(Please look up the word “non-fungible”)
