SPS DAO Project Manager Month 18 Invoicing and Recap

Greetings Splintorians, I'd like to provide a brief update on the projects that I've been working on for the last month. Looking back over my notes, I'm a bit shocked at just how busy this previous month was considering I was out for a week on vacation! Without further ado, let's break down the highlights so I can get back to work:

Most days of April I was working on issues related to Conclave Arcana in some fashion or another. Meeting with the team to go over testing feedback, doing QA with team members and discussing feedback with DAO testers was pretty much constant. The good news is that overall everyone involved in testing has given the same feedback: This is the best set we've ever made!

I had to handle some issues with Terablock and Soul Keep. Terablock has updated all of their bridges to increase security while minimizing downtime, which was becoming a regular complaint. I'm currently looking into options to either have JPTR or a community dev build opensource bridging for the DAO to give us more options. Soul Keep rewards have been paused indefinitely while we try to come to terms with Double Coconut on the future of the game.

Dave, royaleagle and myself designed a new Scholar Showcase concept to help promote more options for scholars for large account holders to help mitigate the problem we were seeing with way too many accounts relying on a handful of scholars. Royaleagle is working with a community developer to get a scholar tracking website up and running as well.

I am currently in final stage discussions with ramp.network and Unlimit to onboard SPS for fiat on and offramping solutions. These are currently under legal review and I've done everything I can on our side to make these partnerships happen. I'll update you all when I know more or get firm dates.

We've had a couple of proposals this month and I did two DAOn Halls and an X Space to communicate with the DAO in regards to the proposals and possibly changing our approach to DeFi overall. These discussions are ongoing and I'll be putting polls together based on the feedback in the next week. Proposals will follow based directly on stake-weighted community feedback.

I spent a good bit of time working with Blaze on QA testing for CA and helping to provide cannon fodder put together some marketing materials to help with the presale. He is putting out videos to showcase the power of some of the new cards in CA. If you're not excited for this set yet, you should be. It's honestly the most fun I've had in this game and I've been here since before cards hard stats.

I've been meeting with Dave a good bit to make the DAO and company relationship a bit more streamlined, productive and efficient overall. It's great to have another community member (I consider myself one as well) taking a strong leadership position in the company and I'm very excited to see what all we can do with some strong collaboration between Splinterlands and the SPS DAO going forward!

This is already getting longer than it meant it to be, so I'll wrap it up here. I want to end by thanking you guys for the opportunity to work for this community. I'm more excited for the future of Splinterlands than I've ever been and I hope you guys are too. Until next time...
