This week's Io Challenge has as its subject CURSED WINDEKU, a rare monster of the Death element, belonging to the new Chaos Legion edition. I really like the design of the card, terrifyingly beautiful, a monster that I would not even meet in my worst nightmares!

The main offensive feature is the melee attack, CURSED WINDEKU is a card to be deployed normally in first position, barring any alternative strategies. In my battle I preferred to immediately deploy the card in first position and I obtained an excellent result. Indeed, CURSED WINDEKU practically competed alone and defeated all allied monsters.

As I often repeat, skills often really make the difference. Upgraded to level 5, CURSED WINDEKU has two main abilities:

• Thorns: every time the monster suffers an attack, it immediately counterattacks its opponent causing minimal damage.

• Heal: at each turn, the monster gets a portion of the health points lost in battle restored.

But that is not all. In fact at level 8 the card acquires another interesting ability, Slow, thus slowing down the movement speed of the opponents. A very useful card that often, as in my case, can win the battle by itself. A great satisfaction!

Cost

The cost of CURSED WINDEKU is currently down sharply, a bit like all Splinterlands cards, due to the bear market. The card can be purchased for a minimum value of approximately $0.45/0.47. A good price if you want to upgrade a really cool card with incredible abilities. A must have not to be missed!

Conclusion

The @splinterlands contests are not only meant to get us generous upvotes but above all to help us discover new cards that can be very useful in our battles and stimulate us to new strategies and more options in battle.

The low card prices, also caused by the large number of prints and availability of Chaos Legion cards, are a great entry point for new players. In fact, it is possible to build an excellent deck of cards by spending little, compared to the cards of previous editions. It will also be interesting to observe the upcoming airdrops of CL cards in order to better determine which Summoner to upgrade and consequently which cards to buy on the market!

Furthermore, the strategy that each player sets himself can undergo natural variations, in order to improve his deck of cards and climb the ranking of the best players, also obtaining higher rewards!

Il Challenge di questa settimana ha come soggetto CURSED WINDEKU, un mostro raro dell'elemento Death, appartenente alla nuova edizione Chaos Legion. Mi piace molto il design della carta, spaventosamente meravigliosa, un mostro che io non vorrei incontrare neanche dei miei peggiori incubi!

La principale caratteristica offensiva è l'attacco melee, CURSED WINDEKU è una carta da schierare normalmente in prima posizione, salvo eventuali strategie alternative. Nella mia battaglia io ho preferito schierare da subito la carta in prima posizione ed ho ottenuto un ottimo risultato. Infatti, CURSED WINDEKU ha praticamente gareggiato da solo ed ha sconfitto tutti i mostri alleati.

Come spesso io sono solito ripetere, le abilità spesso fanno davvero la differenza. Potenziato fino a livello 5, CURSED WINDEKU ha due abilità principali:

• Thorns: ogni volta che il mostro subisce un attacco, contrattacca immediatamente il suo avversario provocando un danno minimo.

• Heal: ad ogni turno, il mostro ottiene il ristoro di una parte dei punti salute persi inn battaglia.

Ma non è tutto. Infatti a livello 8 la carta acquista un'altra interessante abilità, Slow, rallentando così la velocità di movimento degli avversari. Una carta davvero molto utile che spesso, come nel mio caso, può vincere da sola la battaglia. Una grande soddisfazione!

Costo

Il costo di CURSED WINDEKU al momento è in netto ribasso, un po' come tutte le carte Splinterlands, a causa del mercato ribassista. La carta è acquistabile per un valore minimo di circa 0,45/0,47$. Un buon prezzo se vuoi potenziare una carta davvero interessante e dalle abilità incredibili. Un must have da non perdere!

Conclusione

I contest di @splinterlands non hanno solo lo scopo di farci ottenere generosi upvotes ma sono soprattutto di aiutarci a scoprire nuove carte che possono essere davvero molto utili nelle nostre battaglie e stimolarci a nuove strategie e più opzioni in battaglia.

I prezzi bassi delle carte, causati anche dal gran numero di stampe e disponibilità delle carte di Chaos Legion, sono un ottimo punto di ingresso per i nuovi giocatori. Infatti è possibile costruire un ottimo mazzo di carte spendendo poco, rispetto alle carte delle precedenti edizioni. Sarà anche interessante osservare i prossimi airdrops delle carte CL in modo da determinare meglio quale Evocatore potenziare e di conseguenza le carte da acquistare sul mercato!

Inoltre, la strategia che ogni giocatore si imposta, può subire variazioni naturali, in modo da migliorare il proprio mazzo di carte e scalare la classifica dei migliori giocatori, ottenendo anche ricompense più elevate!
