For a few days now, the common card MANA WARDEN has been available at the dedicated Splinterlands store, a common unit of the Fire element, the first to be purchasable exclusively using the VOUCHER token. For each copy or BCX, 30 VOUCHERS are needed and for every 25 BCX, 1 card is gold! I have accumulated 750 VOUCHERS between rewards and some purchases on HE and I have purchased the cards, contributing to the burning of the token, since all the VOUCHERS used for the purchase will be burned!

At the moment the price of the token is $0.01, so it takes about $0.30 to buy VOUCHERS and exchange them to get MANA WARDEN. The cheaper alternative is to buy the card directly from the market at a cost of $0.20, with a saving of 33%, multiplied by 400 BCX it is about 40 dollars for the version upgraded to level 10. However, this calculation does not include the golden foil that is obtained every 24 BCX, so in reality the figures are much closer.

The promo card that can be purchased with VOUCHERS will be replaced every 3 months, so as to have a new unit cyclically and allow players to burn other tokens. I'm curious to know some data on this to understand the extent of the burning so far. At the moment the MANA WARDEN cards in circulation are 7885, if each BCX costs 30 VOUCHERS, a rough calculation is a little more than 236k tokens burned, a little few compared to the total supply but it's a positive experiment. These numbers will probably grow as time goes by.

Maybe, it will be necessary to introduce some other idea to incentivize especially whales to burn Vouchers, maybe inflation should be reduced by reducing the printing of the token or by imposing a tax? I don't know but so far VOUCHERS have been more of a problem than a resource for the team and it will be necessary to fix it sooner or later.

Sono curioso di conoscere qualche dato in merito per comprendere l'entità finora del burning. Al momento le carte MANA WARDEN circolanti sono 7885, se ogni BCX costa 30 VOUCHER, un calcolo approssimativo è di poco più di 236k tokens bruciati, un po' pochi rispetto alla supply totale ma è un esperimento positivo. Probabilmente questi numeri cresceranno con il passare del tempo.

Forse, sarà necessario introdurre qualche altra idea per incentivare soprattutto le balene a bruciare Voucher, forse si dovrebbe ridurre l'inflazione riducendo la stampa del token oppure imponendo una tassa? Non saprei ma finora i VOUCHER sono stati più un problema che una risorsa per il team e sarà necessario porvi rimedio prima o poi.
