The new Escalation miniset is just around the corner, and little by little, details about some of the cards that will make up the set are starting to emerge. Unlike other minisets, Escalation is poised to break some records. First and foremost, the number of packs available will be just under 300,000, of which 10% will be reserved for the DAO. Like Arcane Conclave, Escalation will have three types of packs: Standard, Alchemy, and Legendary, each with a different cost and scarcity.

According to some estimates made by the team itself, if all the packages were purchased in SPS (which would be much more economically advantageous), 180 million tokens would be eliminated from circulation. A small fraction of the total supply, but still a great push by the team to scale the token economy, with a hopefully positive impact on the coin's value.

If this experiment is successful, it's possible to consider new SPS sales in the future; I'm thinking, for example, of the auctions that have received excellent feedback from the community. While this could be detrimental to DEC, offering purchases on SPS would likely burn many more tokens than the flywheel. It will be interesting to watch how events unfold.

Il nuovo miniset Escalation è ormai dietro l'angolo e un po' per volta iniziano ad emergere i dettagli di alcune carte che comporranno il set. A differenza degli altri miniset, Escalation si appresta ad abbattere alcuni record. Innanzitutto il numero dei pacchi a disposizione saranno poco meno di 300k di cui il 10% sarà riservato al DAO. Come per Conclave Arcana, Escalation avrà tre tipologie di pacchi: Standard, Alchemy e Legendary, ognuno ad un costo diverso ed una scarsità diversa.

Da alcune stime fatte dal team stesso, se tutti i pacchi saranno acquistati in SPS (sarà molto più vantaggioso economicamente) saranno eliminati dal circolante 180 milioni di token. Una piccola fetta rispetto alla supply totale ma pur sempre un ottimo impulso da parte del team a volere ridimensionare l'economia del token, con un auspicabile variazione anche del valore della moneta.

Se questo esperimento avrà successo, è possibile pensare a nuove vendite in futuro SPS, sto pensando ad esempio alle aste che hanno avuto un ottimo riscontro da parte della comunità. Anche se questo potrebbe andare a discapito di DEC ma offrire acquisti on SPS probabilmente brucerebbe molti più tokens rispetto al flywheel. Sarà interessante osservare l'evoluzione degli eventi.
