Some are afraid to be happy. Is this possible?
Can someone deprive himself of being happy? If this question is asked, many would say no, but it's possible. Some people care less about things that could make them happy. Until I understood, I never believed it
Chero in greek language means to rejoice, so the word cherophobia is a Greek language. When you see anyone having an irrational aversion to being happy, such a person is suffering from cherophobia
Some people like being on their own without associating with people or participating in things that others are having fun with. It's not that these sets of people are sad, they just believe that something bad might happen so they want to stay clear
They believe that joy would later lead to sadness, and when you are too happy because of something, the end would result in sadness. Many are not born with this fear. It unfolds from their experiences in life. No one should blame anyone for the fear of being happy. Most of these set of people feel happier when they refuse to do things that make others happy, and it makes them feel more secure, but when a sad moment arises, there's nothing to make them free their minds
But I think it's important to stay happy with others. When others are having fun partying, celebrating, and having fun, partaking in it would make you feel the love of humanity. I understand that it's not easy to overcome the fear of being happy (cherophobia), but when we stay around happy people and they constantly encourage us, we would one day beat that fear and enjoy our life to the fullest
No one can live his or her entire life without being sad at some point, that's why we all need to have fun and do things that would make us
Happiness is free. The definition you give to it matters.
Stay happy and have fun. This life is short. One day, death will knock at the door. Enjoy your life while you have the opportunity to stay alive. However, enjoy it wisely
