It is a rule that benefits all cards with low speed because it allows them not only to attack first but also to increase their evasion capacity, and as we all know this is very important when facing battles. Practically it is an inverse effect, usually cards with higher speed attack first and evade more, well, this effect does the same but in the opposite case, so it is ideal to use cards with level 1 strategically in these battles. /

Ser lento tiene sus ventajas, sobre todo cuando la regla “Reverse Speed” se encuentra presente. Es una ruleset que beneficia a todas las cartas con baja velocidad ya que les permite no solo atacar primero sino aumentar su capacidad de evasión, y como todos sabemos esto es súper importante al momento de afrontar las batallas. Prácticamente es un efecto inverso, por lo general las cartas con mayor velocidad atacan primero y evaden más, bueno, este efecto hace lo mismo pero en caso contrario, por lo que es ideal usar cartas con nivel 1 de forma estratégica en estas batallas.

Initially it was very easy to win with Grum in this ruleset due to its great power and low speed, at that time the bloodlust was activated in reverse but after the modification it is not favorable to play with cards that have Bloodlust because it increases their stats making that instead of taking advantage it has the opposite effect. It should be noted that I never agreed with this update but it is practically a challenge to win in a less easy way and to formulate better strategies.

Inicialmente era muy fácil ganar con Grum en esta ruleset debido a su gran poder y baja velocidad, en ese entonces el bloodlust se activaba a la inversa pero después de la modificación no es favorable jugar con cartas que tengan Bloodlust porque les aumenta sus stats haciendo que en vez de tomar ventaja tenga el efecto contrario. Cabe destacar que jamás estuve de acuerdo con esta actualización pero es prácticamente un desafío a ganar de forma menos fácil y a formular mejores estrategias.

Armored Up

For this combat not only this rule was present, we also have "Armored Up" which increases the armor of the team in +2, so simple, you can take advantage of this effect because if your opponent does not have cards with magic attack you can delay the damage to the life points of your monsters, so despite being a simple rule you have to use it wisely to take advantage of it as best as possible. /

Para este combate no solo esta regla estuvo presente, también contamos con “Armored Up” la cual aumenta la armadura del equipo en +2, así de simple, se puede aprovechar este efecto debido a que si tu rival no tiene cartas con ataque mágico podrás retrasar el daño a los puntos de vida de tus monstruos, por lo que a pesar de ser una regla simple hay que usarla con inteligencia para aprovecharla lo mejor posible.

My equipment and strategy / Mi equipo y estrategia

Taking into account the goodness of the ruleset I decided to place some cards to take advantage of their abilities, I did not want to place all the equipment because it is not good to use pure cards with 1 point of speed, also you can not always by the amount of cards available, however I decided to use two that were super useful, the first was Crustacean King that can heal my tank quickly and the second was the legendary Dr. Blight, with his two skills is a wonder, Camouflage prevents it from being detected and causes affliction to the opponent preventing it from being healed or self-healing.

The rest of the team is focused on the marine splinter, being Oshannus my main source of attack, why did I use him despite his great speed? Because of his magic attack, it's also one of the ways to deal with this rule, with magic attack, you won't miss unless your opponent has phase, but if he doesn't, no problem, magic doesn't miss. Bortus was my summoner, with him lowering the opponent's magic is the priority, that way with Oshannus' void shield that also reduces magic all those who have +1 magic power won't do any damage to him.

In the first position use my Venary Martyr, the ideal is to increase the stats of Oshannus once he dies, that way raise the magic attack, then Riverboat Captain with his burst attack doing adjacent damage and Pelacor Bandit to attack the enemy card in the last position.

Teniendo en cuenta las bondades de la ruleset decidí colocar algunas cartas para aprovechar sus habilidades, no quise colocar todo el equipo porque tampoco es bueno usar puras cartas con 1 punto de velocidad, además no siempre se puede por la cantidad de cartas disponibles, sin embargo decidí usar dos que me fueron súper útiles, la primera de ellas fue Crustacean King que puede sanar a mi tanque rápidamente y la segunda fue el legendario Dr. Blight, con sus dos habilidades es una maravilla, Camuflaje impide que sea detectado y causa aflicción al rival impidiéndole ser sanado o autosanarse.

El resto del equipo lo enfoque en el splinter marino, siendo Oshannus mi principal fuente de ataque, ¿Por qué lo use a el a pesar de su gran velocidad? Por su ataque mágico, también es una de las formas de afrontar esta regla, con ataque mágico, no fallaras a menos que tu rival tenga phase, pero si no la tiene no hay problema, la magia no falla. Bortus fue mi invocador, con el bajar la magia rival es la prioridad, de esa forma con el escudo al vacío de Oshannus que también reduce la magia todos aquellos que tengan +1 de poder mágico no le harán nada de daño.

The first round was one of study, little damage from both sides although certain important moves, among them the death of Venary and the increase of Oshannus' stats, fortunately I did well in choosing this combination because my rival also used Bortus thus lowering my magic. The second round was still balanced, in this type of battles where the teams are similar there is usually more parity, but it is defined by some clever moves that break the balance.

El primer round fue de estudio, poco daño de ambos lados aunque si ciertas jugadas importantes, entre ellas la muerte de Venary y el aumento de los stats de Oshannus, afortunadamente hice bien en escoger esta combinación porque mi rival también uso a Bortus bajando así mi magia. El segundo round todavía permanecía el equilibrio, en este tipo de batallas donde los equipos son similares suele haber mayor paridad, pero se define por algunas inteligentes jugadas que rompen el equilibrio.

Already in the third round my Crustacean had died but was able to heal my Oshannus repeatedly, on the other hand the rival Oshannus could not be healed thanks to the affliction provided by my Dr. Blight. The fight was still even although there were already deaths on both sides, even so everything was leaning towards my side thanks to the difference in power.

Ya en el tercer round mi Crustacean había muerto pero pudo sanar a mi Oshannus en repetidas ocasiones, en cambio el Oshannus rival no pudo ser sanado gracias a la aflicción que le proporciono mi Dr. Blight. El combate seguía parejo aunque ya habían muertes de ambos bandos, aun así todo se iba decantando hacia mi lado gracias a la diferencia de poder.

For the next few rounds the battle slowed down more because the tanks were not taking damage, practically my Oshannus was the only one doing damage to his while mine remained intact. His Deeplurker was literally his only hope but he had a hard time winning.

Para los siguientes rounds la batalla se ralentizo más debido a que los tanques no recibían daño, prácticamente mi Oshannus era el único que le hacía daño al suyo mientras que el mío se mantenía intacto. Su Deeplurker era literalmente su única esperanza pero la tenía difícil para vencer.

After the 7th round the fight took its course faster, even so it took several rounds to conclude, my enemy had a good team but my Dr. Blight was definitely my star card, with him I made disaster and I could prevent the health of his cards, that was the biggest advantage and all thanks to take advantage of the ruleset. The fight ended in 12 rounds giving me the victory.

Después del 7mo round el combate tomo su curso más rápido, aun así se tardaron varias rondas para concluir, mi enemigo tenía un buen equipo pero mi Dr. Blight fue definitivamente mi carta estrella, con el hice desastre y pude impedir la sanidad de sus cartas, esa fue la mayor ventaja y todo gracias a aprovechar la ruleset. El combate culmino en 12 rounds dándome así la victoria.
