Happy Weekend Splinters
I just saw a quote on a slide in Splinterlands game which states “Sometimes you have to sell the cards you like , to buy the cards you need”. What does this statement mean? It actually means that most times you own cards which you actually do like maybe because of their name or their ability.
These cards which you seem to like may not help you win battles just the way you should be winning. So in cases like that, you can decide to sell the card off so you can buy cards that will enable you win battles easily.
Another thing you should also note is that you might own the strongest and most expensive cards and still not get to win battles, so you have to be very strategic about how you position your unit cards. As at last week, I had about 118 cards in my card collection but today it’s 129 and that’s from winning battles.
The number of Gold foil cards in my card collection has now risen to 10 with a power of 1000. My cards were previously seven in number so I also won the additional 3 through FRONTIER league battles.
Included in the cards I won today as rewards was a MELEE attack card and a RANGED attack card which were actually the SPINETAIL FIEND and the WILHELMDALE DEPUTY respectively. The cards were both regular cards and also included in the rewards was a free entry into the WEEKLY FORTUNE DRAW.
Hopefully, I’ll be loading my card collection with new cards next week. So I can win more battles and also unlock some more cards. The experience is different when you actually know how to position your cards.
