This weekend, we had a rare family gathering, even though it wasn't a special occasion. Some of our elders were in high spirits and decided to get together, inviting a few other relatives they were still in touch with. Since there are so many restaurants in Taipei, we chose a Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine restaurant near the metro station. Taiwan is known for its diverse culinary scene, offering a wide variety of Chinese regional cuisines, including Taiwanese, Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Sichuan and Hunan, Cantonese, Northern Chinese, and even hometown dishes. Many mainland Chinese people came to Taiwan in the past, bringing their regional cuisines with them, and over the years, they've left their culinary expertise here.

Our family was informed about the gathering relatively late, so we arrived at the restaurant last. When we entered the private dining room, I noticed that the atmosphere was a bit off. Usually, on such occasions, everyone would be chatting and laughing, but today it was unusually quiet. Relatives only greeted us and exchanged a few words when we arrived. After that, everyone ate in silence. After observing for about ten minutes, I realized that the issue might be related to my grandmother. Everyone seemed to be intentionally or unintentionally avoiding her. We later found out that during the meal, my aunt and grandmother had a heated argument over a trivial matter. Despite attempts at mediation, the argument escalated, and in the end, both my aunt and grandmother stopped speaking and sat there in silence. Since my grandmother is the elder, we all respect her, but I also couldn't agree with some of her views. So, I assume they had differences in this regard, leading to the argument. It's true that every family has its own challenges.

After receiving a special Halloween card in STARDOMPLAY, I was curious about its artwork. However, I could only see a few lines through NFTMart, and there was no way to view the actual image. Surprisingly, someone on NFTMart is trying to sell it for 49 $HIVE. I assume the seller probably intends to showcase the card because STARDOMPLAY is a relatively niche game on Hive, with a limited player base and infrequent trading activity. Especially now, the official team hasn't released card packs for a while, and the market has been relatively stable, with everyone waiting for the introduction of $STARDOM-GOLD to the market.
