The Funeral Queen Who Defies the Flames: Cullborn Revenant 🔥

Today we're going to heat up the arena with a card that, although it's Common, has a spectacular design and a very clear mission: hunt down enemy Supports, straight from the Fire element and the Arcane Conclave set, I present to you the indomitable Cullborn Revenant, our Common unit that is much more strategic than it seems.
Despite being a Common card and having a medium mana cost (only 5 mana), don't be fooled by her simplicity! She is a magical attacker who specializes in destroying the enemy formation from the start of the battle, proving that beauty (or at least, macabre style) and lethal force can go hand in hand.

Visual Appearance: Funeral Beauty of Fire

Its design is dramatic and spectacular. The Cullborn Revenant seems to be rising from the earth, resurrected, enveloped in a fiery aura of intense red that reminds us of its connection to the Fire Splinter. Although it appears to belong to the Death Splinter, it seems more like an undead creature with powerful fire powers, so I'm a little undecided about its element.
Style: She is rising directly from the ground, engulfed in red and orange flames that make her look furious and unstoppable. The contrast between her pale skin, her worn clothes, and the fire surrounding her is incredible, living up to the splinter she belongs to.
Visual Strength: Her hand extends forward with a skeletal claw, showing how dangerous she can be, as well as emphasizing her magical ranged attack, but to be honest, this is the definition of "beauty in destruction" and the power of the undead with magical powers.

Abilities and Statistics

Cullborn Revenant is a low/medium Mana card designed for Range Attack and the elimination of key units.
| Statistics | Level 1 | Level 5 | Level 10 (Maximum) | What It Means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cost of Mana | 5 | 5 | 5 | A moderate cost that is well suited to most battles. |
| Range Attack | 2 | 2 | 3 | A solid attack, which increases to 3 at high levels (Level 8). |
| Shield | 1 | 2 | 3 | Gain extra resistance against physical damage at high levels. |
| Life | 2 | 5 | 5 | Its weak point. Fortunately, it becomes more resistant at Level 5. |
Snipe (Level 1): From the moment you use her, she's a hunter. The Snipe ability is super useful because it ignores the opponent's tank (the card in first position) and goes straight to attack the first enemy unit that isn't melee or, failing that, doesn't have any kind of attack. This is perfect for eliminating mages or ranged attackers hiding in the back.
Spite (Level 10): When you reach Level 10 (which requires 400 cards), in addition to having impressive stats (5 Speed, 3 Attack, 3 Armor, and 5 Health), she gains the Spite ability, which gives her a 100% chance to counterattack when defeated, making her very dangerous and capable of finishing off any card if they defeat her.
Think of Cullborn Revenant as a basketball player who specializes in mid-range shots. While the opponent focuses on defending the basket (the tank), she shoots a perfect shot over their heads, hitting the key scorer hiding behind them.

When is it best and worst to use it?

Cullborn Revenant is excellent for low/medium Mana battles where Magic and Range teams are popular.

1. Target Practice: This rule is your best friend! It grants the Snipe ability to all units with magical and ranged attacks. If your entire attack line is targeting the enemy's rear, victory is almost assured, as it supports the intrinsic Snipe ability, so a good combination can completely wipe out a team.
2. Explosive Weaponry: With this rule, attacks deal area damage to cards adjacent to the attack target. Since she uses Snipe to attack units that are not on the front line, secondary damage can quickly eliminate enemy supports that cluster at the rear.
3. Keep Your Distance: Even though many cards may be played that can counteract the magic attack, our card will most likely do a lot of damage. Even if it is defeated 100% of the time, it can still attack, so it can defeat a good number of cards in the process.

1. Fog of War: This rule removes the Sneak, Opportunity, and, most importantly, Snipe abilities. This leaves her without her main strategic advantage.
2. Back to Basics: If all units lose their abilities, you lose Snipe, and you are left with only their base stats.
3. Aimless: Magic or ranged attack units attack a random enemy (Scattershot). This removes their Snipe accuracy and makes them a risk.

Conclusion

Cullborn Revenant is a card that proves that the Common can be spectacular. Its flaming zombie design is memorable, and its Snipe ability makes it an indispensable strategic asset in the Fire Element. It helps you dismantle the enemy's rear guard with precision.
If you like playing with Fire, are looking for a card that is a smart investment due to its low cost, and want a Range attacker that can hunt down enemy supports, then this beautiful Revenant is your best choice 🔥💀.
With nothing further to add, until next time, "Splinterlords".
