Why Speed is King in WOO!

n this article i am going to talk a little bit about the match mechanics in wrestling organization online and why i think speed is the most important. For standard matches I believe the mechanics are easy enough to read. As i said, i think certain stats are more important than others, that said, you want a little bit of everything to make sure that you can:
A. Make sure your moves hit (speed)
B. Evade your opponents moves (speed again)
C. Deplete your opponents health (damage)
D. Have enough health to soak up damage form your opponent (health points)

The other consideration is the 'Triangle of Resistance' (pretty sure I just coined a new term there, if so @bookerman I want kick back anytime you use it 🤣) where each wrestling style has one style it is stronger against and one it is weaker against (like rock paper scissor). Powerhouse is strong against Technical, Technical is strong against Highflying & Highflying is strong against Powerhouse.

For me speed is the most OP of the 3 stat's (Speed, Damage & Health Points) because of the below.
If you have higher speed than your opponent then all your moves will connect (barring any special match mechanics or manager input).
Speed also effects your chance to evade your opponents moves, for every 1 speed you have more than your opponent you get a 10% chance to evade. E.g. your speed is 5 and your opponents is 3 (2x 10%) in this scenario there is a 20% chance that your opponents move will miss each round. This is really important as most wrestlers have their win condition (finisher/pin/submission) on their 3rd move, so if they miss moves 1 or 2 then they need to start from move 1 again and thus it takes them longer to win.
