Early morning browsing for the new new .. I came across something NFT related with a twist.

Shibuya

Shibuya is a Web3 “direct-to-community” video platform that is based on Ethereum (ETH) NFTs and tokens.

The project lets creators crowdfund their films and webseries and also lets holders vote on the story decisions of each project. Backers that supported the films will receive potential benefits of receiving tokens that represent fractionalized ownership in the film.

The NFTs help fund projects and also let holders vote on story decisions. Pick up NFT's priced at $250 in ETH once you have successfully beat every other NFT buyer and have bought an NFT and mint a Producer Pass NFT and stake it to cast a vote for either path. Kuciara, "which is the creator" will honor the results of the vote and work that into the next chapter of the film.

Web 3.0 gives creators an opportunity to rethink old business models and adopt new ways of bringing projects to life, we have yet to see the real Web 3.0 sure we have some sort of version of it and fine tuning it and allowing for the massive exploration and development of WEB3.

The first chapter, they are creating is "White Rabbit" Each chapter will have its own NFT pass, letting holders decide the course of the narrative as the complete film gradually takes shape.

Shibuya is launching with "White Rabbit," an anime-inspired webseries by co-founder Maciej Kuciara, a concept artist who has worked on numerous Marvel Studios films (including “Spider-Man: No Way Home”) along with other Hollywood blockbusters.

This could become a big thing, considering the above statement is true.

Below is a video I recorded if something like this comes about and it actually does what it is promised then we might have something new here.

It is interesting. For a moment I thought you would take the door to the right. So you buy a nft and can vote on ether path. And you get a share of ownership, depending on how well the film does !

Interesting idea. Kind of like an updated version of the DC scheme back in the day where readers voted by phone on if they wanted Robin to die or not.

I'm still not sold on most NFTs, but ideas like this do show some promise.
