Question about investment in cards

Right now I have around 4000 Power in Splinterlands. How much money do I need to put into the Game to be able to reach Gold if I want to buy cards instead of renting?

It takes 100k power to reach Gold III, so you need 96000 more power.

A check on Peakmonsters shows that at best, you get around 30 card power per 1 USD. That means you have to spend at least 96000/30 or 3200 USD to get enough power for to reach Gold.

This is just a rough estimate, chances are it'll be higher than this amount
