Trying to do this "MAX Out" thing everyone is talking about!
So full disclosure.. I wrote this a week ago and apparently forgot to post it. So that's awkward. But I cant' let this post go to waste so here it is irregardless!
I see posts ALL the time about people talking about MAX'd out Silver Decks, or Max'd out whatever decks and from what I have gathered that means max level cards for a certain 'thing'.
Well I am no whale.. not yet at least
So I wanted to try to focus my efforts on the things those whales do and get max level cards.
Spoiler: I probably never will but figured I should at LEAST focus on that path. So without further ado let's buy some cards with our Glint!
But First 🥇- What are we starting with?
I was going to go common but that is boring so I decided on Rare! Here are my current Rebellion Reward Rare Cards.
The only Level 2 cards I have are Commander Slade and Chaos Adjutant. That needs to change ASAP
Buying 40 Rare Draws!
I have 31,146 Glint after using some to buy up potions in preparation for Conclave Arcana Packs. So that means 750 per Draw times 40 = 30,000 Glint!
Well now I have FOMO again, ugh. I just got my 125 Potions but I feel like I kind of HAVE to at least try for Gold Foils right?

So I have all the Rare (non Gold) Rebellion Reward Cards. I also have 2 of the Rare Gold Foil Rebellion Reward Cards.
Still a lot of way to go.
Buying Minor Chests (for the first time)
I have just over 1,000 Glint left so here we go with 5 Minor Chests...
Was it worth it?
So taking chance out of it, that 'Dragon Egg Forager' would cost 750 Glint alone in the Rare Draw. You know what? Let's do the math here!

I don't know why but I always thought buying Chests was a lose lose situation. But I recently came across this article by @seattlea and they bought 300 Chest and it got me thinking maybe they aren't that bad. And well the 1 Energy sucked for me but the rest of the rewards I will take gladly!
So maybe it's time to start buying Chests I guess :)
But it wouldn't be a Cherokee4Life post unless I just didn't stop when I should have right? Well to that end....
Smart or Dumb?
I still don't know. What I do know is that my current Land situation is terrible. It's my own fault, I got into the LAND game without doing my due diligence and now I have a bunch of "wood" plots of land. I know long term I am going to need the other resources but I also know I am a small fish and can't afford that now. But that is when I got a idea...
I know when you survey a plot of land it creates/surveys a new plot in the latest region. So in theory if you survey like 10 plots of land together than they will all be in the same region (yes obviously maybe 2 if you are at the end of 1 Region getting full).
A unsurvey'd plot of land stays as is forever. So picking them up as time goes on isn't a bad idea.. (or so I hope)
Sooo with those 2 things in mind, I spent some WAX I had laying around and bought this bad boy!
That is 1 Land Claim Plot baby!
I spent 1,500 WAX on that Plot of Land which was about $38 at time of purchase. And if we going based purely off the Splinterlands Official Secondary Market... Well I got it for a steal baby!
So now I just wait and hopefully overtime I can pick up more Plots of land that are unsurvey'd so that once I have my SPS Mine, Research Hut, and whatever the other one is that is not a resource that I can't for the LIFE of me remember.. Let's be honest, I am just winging this shit anyways so YOLO!
