Wire and stone earrings inspired by the River Hellondale card from Splinterlands [Eng-Esp]

Greetings, fellow craft lovers! Welcome back to my workshop @bricolajedc. Today, we'll be making some wire and stone earrings inspired by the River Hellondale card from Splinterlands. Join me and I'll show you my creative process.

¡Saludos amigos amantes de las artes manuales! Les doy la bienvenida una vez más a mi taller @bricolajedc. En esta oportunidad haremos unos aretes en alambre y piedras inspirados en la carta River Hellondale de Splinterlands. Acompáñenme y les muestro mi proceso creativo.

Materials:

Silver-coated jewelry wire #18, #26, and #30
A strip of gold-colored crystals
Jewelry pliers
Round and oval mandrel
2 Swarovski crystals
40 bronze-colored Murano crystals

We begin by making the central element of the earrings, which will be the flower that the character has on her chest and belt. To do this, we take the #30 wire directly from the roll, so as not to waste any, and make the petals. We will make one large petal for the center and two smaller ones for the sides.

Using the round mandrel on setting #3, we will make the center petal and the oval mandrel for the tip of the petal.

We will repeat this step with mandrels #2 for the small petals.

Comenzamos haciendo el elemento central de los aretes que sera la flor que tienen el personaje en su pecho y en su cinturón. Para esto tomamos el alambre #30 y directamente del rollo, para no desperdiciar nada, vamos a hacer los pétalos. Sería uno grande para el centro y dos más pequeños para los lados.

Con el mandril redondo en la vuelta #3 haremos el pétalo central y con el mandril ovalado la punta del pétalo.

Repartimos este paso con los mandriles #2 para los petalos pequeños.

Once we have the three petals together, cut them with the cutting pliers.

Then join them with #26 wire, wrapping it around the base of the flower five times.

Next, using your fingers, separate the petals, taking the largest one as the center. Be careful not to deform them.

Una vez que tenemos los 3 pétalos juntos, cortamos con la pinza de corte.

Luego vamos a unir con alambre #26 dando 5 vueltas en la base de nuestra flor.

Luego con ayuda de nuestros dedos, vanos a separar los pétalos tomando el más grande como centro. Debemos evitar deformar.

To make the hooks, take the Swarovski crystal and, using the round-nose pliers, make a loop directly from the #18 wire roll.

Para hacer los anzuelos, vamos a tomar el Swarovski y directamente del rollo de alambre #18, vamos a hacer un aro con la pinza redonda.

Cut 4.5 centimeters. Use the flat pliers to pull the wire back.

Cortamos 4 centímetros y medio. Con la pinza plana llevamos el alambre hasta atrás.

Make a ring and, leaving half a centimeter, bend the tip upward.

Repeat the step using the hook as a reference so that they are all the same.

Hacemos una argolla y dejando medio centímetro doblamos la punta hacia arriba.

Repetimos el paso con el anzuelo como referencia para que queden iguales.

Take the largest round mandrel for rings. Make two rings that will fit the flowers.

Tomamos el mandril redondo más grande para aros. Hacemos 2 aros donde quepan las flores.

Place the flower at the bottom of the hoop and use #30 wire to secure it tightly by wrapping it around several times.

Posicionamos la flor en la parte inferior del aro y con alambre #30 bamos a unir fuertemente dando vueltas bien apretas.

Take the Murano glass beads and thread them onto the wire, wrapping the wire around the hoop three times before adding the next bead. Continue until you have 20 Murano beads around each hoop.

Tomamos los cristales de murano y vamos a introducir en el alambre, damos 3 vueltas en el aro y colocamos el siguiente murano. Así hasta completar 20 muranos al rededor de cada aro.

Repeat this with each of the rings.

Twist 2 meters of wire. To do this, take two strands of #26 wire, join them together, and twist them until you have a kind of cord.

Take the rings and wrap the twisted wire around the base of each ring twice, passing it through the ring, and continue until you have a woven pattern around the entire ring. Each ring will have one meter of twisted wire.

Repatimos esto con cada uno de los aros.

Entorchamos 2 metros de alambre. Esto vamos a hacerlo con 2 hebras de alambre #26 las juntamos y enrroscamos hasta que quede una especie de cordón.

Tomamos los aros y vamos a enrrollar en cada murano 2 vueltas en la base y pasamos por dentro del aro y así hasta formar un tejido en todo el aro. Cada uno se lleva un metro de alambre entorchado.

Place a Swarovski stone in the center of each flower and secure it with the twisted wire, wrapping it tightly around four times, twice vertically and twice horizontally.

Colocamos una piedra de Swarovski en el centro de cada flor y con el alambre entorchado vamos a fijar dando 4 vueltas bien apretas, 2 en forma vertical y 2 en forma horizontal.

Once ready, take the hooks and hang a ring on each hook.

Una vez listo, vamos a tomar los anzuelos y colgamos un aro en cada anzuelo.

And so we have a pair of earrings inspired by this beautiful card from Splinterlands.

Y así tenemos un par de aretes inspirados en esta bonita carta de Splinterlands.

I really loved this project. Crafting each piece was wonderful, and I was very pleased with the final result.

Note: I would love to play Splinterlands in VR so I could see each character move and highlight every detail that inspires us to make jewelry and fan art.
