Unboxing My First Graphic Tablet 💻🎨🖊️

Hola a todos en la comunidad de Gems! Espero que estén teniendo una feliz noche, quiero darles la bienvenida a una nueva etapa en mi camino artístico y compartir con ustedes una experiencia que ha marcado un antes y un después en mi exploración en el arte digital. He tenido percances con mi tablet que ha estado dando problemas para mantenerse encendida como comete anteriormente, lo que me llevó a buscar otras alternativas para seguir con lo que me mueve que es dibujar. Con estos acontecimientos veo que el arte digital es un mundo amplio y completo, lleno de herramientas y técnicas que hacen que cada día sea una oportunidad para aprender algo nuevo. Para mí, esta transición representa un gran reto, porque implica adiestrarme en nuevos programas, acostumbrarme a un nuevo periférico, y sumergirme en una curva de aprendizaje que requiere tiempo, esfuerzo y paciencia. Después de mucha investigación, tutoriales, comparaciones y evaluaciones, finalmente tomé una decisión, y hoy me llegó la tableta gráfica Inspiroy H640P de la marca Huion 🎉. Es una de las más recomendadas dentro de su rango, y entre todas las opciones que evalué, me pareció una excelente elección para iniciar este nuevo proceso. Como todavía no soy muy conocedora de estos dispositivos, pasé prácticamente todo el día investigando, viendo videos y tutoriales sobre su configuración y funcionamiento. Lo primero que noté al probarla fue su fluidez, lo que me dio la confianza de que puede adaptarse bien a mi estilo de trabajo, sentí que podía tener mas libertad. Aún tengo que configurar varios botones para optimizar funciones específicas, pero el cansancio me venció por hoy. Y esta comenzando un nuevo día y será de aprendizaje, donde podré seguir experimentando y manipulando esta herramienta con mayor profundidad. Aunque todo esto ha surgido de un problema frustrante con mi tablet anterior, también me ha permitido ampliar mis horizontes y comprender mejor la complejidad de algunos programas y dispositivos. Como les había comentado antes, he estado explorando programas como Krita, que tiene una similitud cercana con Clip Studio y también con Adobe Photoshop. En este último estuve estudiando sus funciones, pero me di cuenta de que tenía muchos saltos cuando lo descargue y estaba muy lento entonces con calma tengo que buscar descargarlo nuevamente, así que lo dejé de lado por ahora para enfocarme en Krita, que me ha parecido intuitivo y perfecto como antesala para luego sumergirme en el futuro en Photoshop. Lo primero que quiero hacer antes de adentrarme en nuevos programas es adiestrarme bien con la tableta, acostumbrarme a su manejo y sacarle el mayor provecho posible. Estuve manejando Krita con la tableta gráfica, tratando de continuar con un dibujo que ya tenía bastante adelantado y que exporté para terminarlo en el programa. Espero que me sigan acompañando en esta nueva experiencia, que sin duda marca un paso significativo para mi.

I hope you are having a happy evening, I want to welcome you to a new stage in my artistic journey and share with you an experience that has marked a before and after in my exploration in digital art. I have had mishaps with my tablet that has been giving problems to stay on as it does before, which led me to look for other alternatives to continue with what moves me which is drawing. With these events I see that digital art is a wide and complete world, full of tools and techniques that make every day an opportunity to learn something new. For me, this transition represents a great challenge, because it involves training in new programs, getting used to a new peripheral, and immersing myself in a learning curve that requires time, effort and patience. After much research, tutorials, comparisons and evaluations, I finally made a decision, and today I got the Inspiroy H640P graphics tablet from Huion 🎉. It is one of the most recommended within its range, and among all the options I evaluated, I found it an excellent choice to start this new process. As I am still not very knowledgeable about these devices, I spent practically the whole day researching, watching videos and tutorials about its configuration and operation. The first thing I noticed when I tried it was its fluidity, which gave me the confidence that it can adapt well to my work style.I still have to configure several buttons to optimize specific functions, but fatigue has beaten me for today. And a new day is beginning and it will be a learning one, where I can continue to experiment and manipulate this tool in greater depth. Although all this has arisen from a frustrating problem with my previous tablet, it has also allowed me to broaden my horizons and better understand the complexity of some programs and devices. As I had told you before, I have been exploring programs like Krita, which has a close similarity to Clip Studio and also Adobe Photoshop. In the latter I was studying its functions, but I realized that it had many jumps when I downloaded it and was very slow so I have to calmly look to download it again, so I left it aside for now to focus on Krita, which I found intuitive and perfect as a prelude to then dive into Photoshop in the future. The first thing I want to do before getting into new programs is to train myself well with the tablet, get used to its handling and make the most of it. I've been working with Krita with the graphic tablet, trying to continue with a drawing that I already had quite advanced and that I exported to finish it in the program. I hope you continue accompanying me in this new experience, which undoubtedly marks a significant step for me.

Etapas del Dibujo/Drawing Stages

El momento de abrir la caja de la Huion Inspiroy H640P fue emocionante, porque significaba el inicio de una nueva forma de dibujar. Al recibir el paquete, lo primero que noté fue su presentación minimalista y compacta, lo que me pareció muy práctico. Al destapar la caja, lo que encontré fue la tableta gráfica Inspiroy H640P con un diseño delgado y ligero, con una superficie de dibujo cómoda y de buen tamaño. Me llamó la atención lo ergonómica que se siente al apoyarla sobre la mesa.

The moment I opened the box of the Huion Inspiroy H640P was exciting, because it meant the beginning of a new way of drawing. Upon receiving the package, the first thing I noticed was its minimalist and compact presentation, which I found very practical. When I uncovered the box, what I found was the Inspiroy H640P graphics tablet with a slim and lightweight design, with a comfortable and good-sized drawing surface. I was struck by how ergonomic it felt when resting it on the table.

Otro de sus accesorios y mas importantes es el lápiz sin batería PW100, éste es un detalle que me encantó, porque no tengo que preocuparme por cargarlo. Su sensibilidad es alta, lo que me ha permitido trazos precisos y naturales, y por su alta sensibilidad me llevara un tiempo acostumbrarme. También trajo su cable USB que crea la conexión directa, sin necesidad de adaptadores especiales, lo que hace que la instalación sea sencilla. Están también sus ocho puntas de repuesto y removedor, lo cual es un plus que agradezco, porque me garantiza duración y reemplazo sin preocupaciones. Y esta versión trajo un adaptador tipo c para conectarme con otros dispositivos, y probé con mi celular y funciono perfectamente.

There are also its eight spare tips and remover, which is a plus that I appreciate, because it guarantees me durability and worry-free replacement. And this version came with a type c adapter to connect to other devices, and I tested it with my cell phone and it worked perfectly.

Al ir viendo los bordes de la tableta vi sus cuatro bases de goma adherentes para un buen agarre y estabilidad al manipular la tablet y también este pequeño botón deslizable para bloquear la tablet y así no cometer un percance, me pareció muy útil la verdad. Al momento de conectar con la computadora la tableta grafica empecé con la descarga e instalación del programa desde la pagina de Huion para configurar la tableta, así que solo por los momentos configure los primeros dos botones para ir hacia adelante y atrás, así mismo estuve configurando los botones del lápiz para tener las opciones mas accesibles a la hora de dibujar, como el deslizar el lienzo, la paleta de color y pinceles y el zoom. A medida que vaya conociendo mas el programa iré configurando y cambiando la función de algunos botones.

As I was looking at the edges of the tablet I saw its four sticky rubber bases for a good grip and stability when handling the tablet and also this small sliding button to lock the tablet so as not to commit a mishap, I found it very useful indeed. When I connected the tablet to the computer I started with the download and installation of the program from the Huion page to configure the tablet, so just for the moment I configured the first two buttons to go forward and backward, I was also configuring the pencil buttons to have the most accessible options when drawing, such as sliding the canvas, the color palette and brushes and zoom. As I get to know the program better I will be configuring and changing the function of some of the buttons.

Aún tengo mucho por aprender, pero estoy emocionada por todo lo que viene. Mañana continuaré con la configuración y seguiré practicando con Krita, experimentando con los botones personalizables y optimizando mi flujo de trabajo con esta nueva herramienta.
