You probably don't want to use the Serpent of Eld (or any other melee tank) at the rear of your team, because it can't attack until every other monster in front is eliminated. You can instead place a ranged monster, such as Goblin Chariot at the end, since it cannot attack in first position. Keep on playing and posting!
