Ryuk - Death Note 🍎📓✒
Hello! Today I bring you this digital painting made under the Pixelart style, it is a portrait of one of the characters of the famous anime and manga, Death Note. Ryuk is a fictional character from Death Note, created by Tsugumi Ōba and Takeshi Obata. He is a god of death who is able to take the life of any person through a notebook where just by writing down the name of that person, it will be enough for him to die inevitably. Ryuk is one of the most interesting and cunning shinigamis, he has a black outfit with some accessories, piercing yellow eyes and a love for apples that is comparable to the addiction for cigarettes and alcohol in humans.
The series tells the story of Light, an honorable student who finds a mysterious notebook in his school and discovers that he can end anyone's life just by writing the name on it. From there, he decides to become a kind of vigilante or anti-hero because he writes in that notebook only the names of criminals. All in an attempt to achieve a utopia where the world is a place free of evil and where peace reigns. Something that totally contradicts his ideal, since he becomes what he swore to destroy. A Machiavellian man who will do anything (kill) to achieve his goal. The interesting thing about this series is to see the main characters Light (Kira, the antihero) and L (a detective who wants to capture Kira) join in a battle to see which of the two turns out to be the true vigilante. A diaspora about morals, what is right and what is wrong, and whether the end really justifies the means. This series is really worth watching, excellent characters, story and design. Also, it has very few chapters and can be finished in just a few days if you decide to give it a chance in a marathon.
¡Hola! El día de hoy les traigo esta pintura digital hecha bajo el estilo del Pixelart, es un retrato de uno de los personajes del famoso anime y manga, Death Note. Ryuk es un personaje ficticio de Death Note, creado por Tsugumi Ōba y Takeshi Obata. Se trata pues de un dios de la muerte que es capaz de arrebatar la vida a cualquier persona a través de un cuaderno donde con tan solo apuntar el nombre de aquella persona, bastará para que esta muera inevitablemente. Ryuk es uno de los shinigamis más interesantes y astutos, posee una indumentaria negra con algunos accesorios, unos ojos amarillos penetrantes y un amor por las manzanas que es comparable a la adicción por los cigarrillos y el alcohol en los seres humanos.
La serie nos narra la historia de Light, un honorable estudiante que encuentra casualmente en su escuela una misteriosa libreta con la cual descubre que puede acabar con la vida de cualquiera con tan solo escribir el nombre de esta. Desde allí, decide volverse una especia de justiciero o antihéroe pues escribe en esa libreta únicamente nombres de criminales. Todo en un intento por lograr una utopía donde el mundo sea un lugar libre de maldad y donde reine la paz. Cosa que lo contradice totalmente de su ideal ya que se convierte en aquello que juro destruir. Un hombre maquiavélico que hará lo que sea (matar) con tal de lograr su cometido. Lo interesante de esta serie es ver que los personajes principales Light (Kira, el antihéroe) y L (un detective que quiere capturar a Kira) se unen en una batalla por ver quién de los dos resulta ser el verdadero justiciero. Una diáspora sobre lo moral, lo que está bien y lo que está mal, y sobre si realmente el fin justifica los medios. Realmente vale la pena ver esta serie, excelentes personajes, historia y diseño. Además, tiene muy pocos capítulos y puede acabarse en pocos días si decides darle una oportunidad en un maratón.

Now, I'll tell you a little bit about how I made this Pixelart. I am very sorry but I could not take pictures of the process, I was very focused on painting and did not work with layers so I can not show how I made shadows, lights, color, shape, etc.. However I leave a little of the lace that I made to locate more or less the location of the character, Ryuk. You will find it in these red lines.

Ahora, les cuento un poco como realice este Pixelart. Lo lamento mucho pero no pude tomar fotos del proceso, estuve muy concentrada en la pintura y no trabajé con capas por lo cual no puedo mostrar cómo realice sombras, luces, color, forma, etc. Sin embargo dejo un poco del encaje que realice para ubicar más o menos la ubicación de personaje, Ryuk. Lo encontrarán en estas líneas de color rojo.
Basically the painting has a composition that fully embraces the character, there is no background, just the figure so you may have noticed that what stands out the most about him, are his eyes. I used some shades of blue and gray for his skin, the eyes are a mustard yellow color but have a bit of green and his pupil is red. They look like olives to me hahaha I've always thought so. She also added the heart shaped earring and the characteristic apple she always eats.

Basicamente la pintura tiene una composición que abarca totalmente al personaje, no hay un fondo, solo la figura por lo cual habrán notado que lo que más destaca de él, son sus ojos. Utilice unos tonos de azul y grises para su piel, los ojos son de un color amarillo mostaza pero tienen un poco de verde y su pupila es roja. A mi se me asemejan a unas aceitunas jajaja siempre lo he pensado. También añadió el pendiente con forma de corazón y la característica manzana que consume siempre.
The truth is that it has cost me a bit to make this character because it is a bit amorphous, strange and that expression on his face between unhinged and malicious, it is not easy to achieve. However I have done my best and here are the results. I have left the original result and the one I have edited with my image editor.
La verdad es que me ha costado un poco realizar este personaje porque es un poco amorfo, extraño y esa expresión en su cara entre desquiciado y malicioso, no es fácil de lograr. Sin embargo he hecho mi mejor esfuerzo y he aquí los resultados. He dejado el resultado original y el que he editado con mi editor de imágenes.
