Tournament + Validator SPS Rewards... 25% Burn!!!

It's ya boi CaptainDingus or as @clayboyn is known to call me "Senpai DingDing" for some reason... couldn't possibly be all the Anime GIFs I use... Probably.
I have been burning 25% of my $SPS Rewards for DEC because I think we have too much SPS and so I have started to just BURN IT.
Why you ask? Because I am doing my part to reduce the overall supply from 3,000,000,000.
I believe by doing this, it will help SPS be more valuable in the long run and even though we had some lively discussion and found this to probably not have a 1:1 correlation of Reduction to Increase...
Anyways - I often play in tournaments and even though I don't have all the cards I need... sometimes I do well!
I won 1,352 SPS or so the other day and I just claimed my 2k SPS from "Season Validator Rewards so lets go Burn them and get a #SPSBurnReport
Alright we have just over 4k $SPS!
As I stated before, I am going to burn 25% of my "Liquid" Reward SPS from Tournaments, Validators, etc
I transferred 75% out to my Hive Engine Account so I can save it for the Mini Set in December!
This leaves me with:
Now... I know what you're thinking... "But Cap'n... isn't that a TERRIBLE exchange rate?!?!"
Yup... yikes... with $DEC at $.0005837 and $SPS at $.068... I am going to get about 58% of what I would get for swapping it...
Well... I'll keep doing this but even if I burn 1,000 SPS every season... it would take me A MILLION SEASONS to burn 1,000,000,000 SPS lol
However... with projects like @elmo.market and #ElmoBurns going to town and burning SPS... maybe if a few other players decided to pitch in and burn some SPS Rewards too... we could get it down to like... 250,000 Seasons lol...
Anyways... In the grand scheme of things, 1,000 SPS is not a lot of "Supply Reduction". However, with the consistent burning of SPS and the efforts of a number of parties... it could add up to something substantial!
Will this have much of a price impact on SPS... I think it will... others not so much... only time will tell!!

I'd love to see others join me but it is completely up to y'all... it's definitely not the "Smart Move" in the short term... but I believe it to be a "Smart Move" in the long run...

I don't know, this just doesn't make sense to me... Token burning is normally a marketing gimmick. You doing it at a loss just doesn't make sense... I am hoarding all SPS I can get, if it is staked it produces more SPS for me and that SPS is not ever going to the market unless the price is right, which is much higher...
