Conclave Arcana Eve - The Hypening!!!

Good morning Splinterfriends!!

The day has arrived... Today... is the day BEFORE the release of Conclave Arcana!!! If you're not excited yet... have you been living under a rock?!? Do you even have a PULSE?!?

The Splinterlands Community is in an extreme state of Hype!!! NEW SET, WHO DIS?!?!

There's a number of good reasons for this but lets take a quick look at a few:

Chaos Legion is rotating out of Modern...

Old players are showing back up, WELCOME BACK!!

New players are showing up!! Welcome!!

SPS is climbing!! Wen Moon amirite?!?!

DEC is right at Peg at 1,000 DEC: $.985

GUYS!!! WE ARE PEGGING!!!!!

Wait... what??? Are you SURE that's not what that means???? It means WHAT?!?!?

Alright you heathens, get your mind out of the gutter, it was a good joke and I know you've thought it!!

Erhem - back to what I was saying...

The presale for Conclave Arcana starts tomorrow 4/22/2025 at 2pm EST!!!

Many of us have been burned by the Chaos Legion Presale... We've been bitten by the Bear Market... Mauled even... but for the first time in YEARS... I am excited about this launch!!

Combined with the price action of SPS and the Crypto Markets in general... there is so much hype surrounding this Pre Release that even I am excited to take place in this and have prepped as best as I can for the Pre Sale!!

Here's the kicker... straight from the days of Aggy and the Push-and-shove mentality... there are finite number of packs to be purchased... here are the official numbers:

What does this mean for you? For me? For Splinterlands???

Well... by the numbers:

500,000 Regular Packs = $2,000,000
100,000 Alchemy Packs = $1,200,000
50,000 Legendary Packs = 1,200,000

All in all - only $5,000,000 sells out the Presale... I honestly hope to see it sell out within the first week... but even if it doesn't sell out by the Launch on 5/11/25...

The unsold portion will be BURNED - PERMANENTLY!!!

The same thing happened with Rebellion and look how rare those cards are!! Post Chaos Legion Modern is going to look VERY DIFFERENT!!!

The best thing about this set so far... and it hasn't even launched... is what it is causing the price of SPS to do!!

Since you can burn SPS for DEC... many players who stuck around and earned SPS/DEC over the Bear Market are stacking it up to burn the SPS and pay for their CA Packs!!

This has caused the price of SPS to spike and right now we are at resistance... but I am hoping to see that smashed today and perhaps we hit $.02 by tomorrow morning??? Maybe even HIGHER?!?! Who knows!!!

The higher SPS goes... the more DEC for the burn... the more SPS burned... the... the... FLYWHEEL ACTIVATION!!!

I am hoping to score some of the Pre Release Packs tomorrow and the two Promo Cards are very incentivizing!!! Especially Gramel, the Hunger!!

I am going to do my best to get a Max Copy of Gramel because I missed out on Grim and Mantaroth... I have to rent the Mantaroth and I can't even justify renting Grim at this point... so I don't want to miss out on these guys if I can afford it...

Speaking of "affording it"... how much DEC/Dollars are we talking here... to get a max copy of Gramel and/or the other guy... Right... the Arcane SW...

Well... Arcane SW is a Rare... so you'll need 115 Card Copies (CC) to combine for a Max Level...

115 x 40,000 DEC = 4,600,000 DEC or about $4,500 with DEC at $.985/1,000 DEC... keep in mind you also get a GUARANTEED GF for every 25 Copies Earned... (more about this in just a moment)

Gramel has a hefty price tag per Card but you only need 11 to make a Max Level...

You only get 1 Copy of Gramel for every 400k DEC spent... so to get a Max Copy (11 CC) you'll need to spend 4,400,000 DEC or $4,334 at current DEC price...

However... I have spoken with a few of the Orcas/Whales and the general consensus is... if you can afford it... the "ideal" target is:

25 CC of Gramel to get the Guaranteed GF... because it will bring in STUPID MONEY (or it should)...

25 x 400,000 is a staggering 10,000,000 DEC... or $9,850 at current DEC prices!!

Now... unlike the Orcas and the Whales... I don't have $10,000 to just throw at this game... or do I???

I didn't leave during the Bear Market... I didn't sell everything and move on... I didn't give up, quit, or throw in the towel... maybe I am dumb...

Instead... I stuck around... I hung in there... I DCA'd a little each week... I played and I earned... and I have WAY MORE SPS than I ever thought I would... for the first time EVER... I am unstaking $SPS... because I have earned a LOT of it over the last 3 years... I've bought some, earned some, stacked it all up...

So let's look at how much SPS we need to BURN to get 10,000,000 DEC...

$.01: Well... that's easy... 1,000,000 SPS at $.01 = $10,000 or 10M DEC

Currently: During the typing of this article DEC has risen from $.985 -> $.991!!!

Lets try that again...

Currently: SPS = $.0135 so 759,320 SPS = 10M DEC!!

$.02 SPS = 500,000 for 10M DEC
$.03 SPS = 333,333 for 10M DEC
$.04 SPS = 250,000 for 10M DEC

Personally, I am hoping to see somewhere around the $.03-$.04 levels but anything higher than current levels is good and I have about 400k SPS I am willing to burn... so ideally anything over the $.03 level is where I'd like to be!!

With all of this being said... I now have to go to work... lame. I have a few Grain Plots for sale... GO BUY THOSE!!! That'll help me afford more CA packs!!!
