Vernary wavesmith is still pretty usefull in bronze ... chipping away at enemy health while protected by +3 armour total is not bad.

Combine it with a low mana/high hp tank and you do very good against melee/ranged ..

The only problem i see is if you run into a +1 magic summoner , in which case you'll probably lose since your extra 3 armour is useless.. However, at such low mana these are rare occurrences in bronze 2.
