The recent sps pump is giving me Joy, I watched the sps in Emp-warden pump from 800 dollars to 1260 dollars and that was just a slight pump, Just imagine when the price of sps goes back to the rate of 1 sps to 1 hive or sps reach $0.5, Sps is going to make the rich richer again, Am still bullish on Sps and if Splinterlands can drive traffic to the hive and its game once, I believe they can achieve it again!

This week Splinterlands battle mage secrets is Stampede

This ruleset highly favors monsters with the Trample ability, it gets triggered when they eliminate one of the opponent's monsters as they would have the chance to keep attacking as long as they eliminate the monster that was attacked.

This is one of the rare moments that I would get 1 rule in a battle, most time it is often 2 or 3, and the rule I was given in the battle I want to share is Stampede.

There were four splinters available, the opponent and I chose the water splinter using Cryptic summoner with the blind and -1 speed ability.

The opponent also used cryptic and the blind ability did not allow my monster with the Trample ability to shine because it kept on missing the opponent monsters

Aside from the normal stats that Cryptic granted, she is a dual splinter summoner that also has two pairs of abilities that players can choose 1 from, In this battle, I chose the expose and poison

The picture above was the formation of the opponent and I came up with it after brainstorming, it looks alike but there is a slight difference in our choice of monsters...

I used 2 heal tanks while he used 1, check out my formation setup and the reason for such a lineup below.

Sea Wreck

The first mistake from the opponent was not using a monster like a sea wreck as his tank, it has magic reflect and return fire abilities that do half damage back to the opponent's magic and range monsters, but the opponent could not eliminate it till the end of the battle cos it is a healing monster and I also used two additional heal tank to supply health to it.

Djinn Oshannus

The opponent used Djinn as his tank. Still, I placed it in second position in my team because even though it is a strong card that can withstand hit the presence of Cryptic summoner could change the game and that was exactly what the opponent and I used, so I placed it in 2nd position and gave it the abilities gotten from the summoner because of its speed to attack first.

Daarg Deadblast

Daarg with the swift ability powers up the entire team with +1 speed, but the opponent did better by using Daarg as well as another monster with swift, which gave him +2 speed and gave him the chance to attack first but that still didn't give him the win because his monsters were not up to the task.

Merdaali Guardian

This was my first heal tank and It benefitted from Daarg's weapon training ability which gives her magic attack.

Venka The vile

Venka has trample ability which is in favor of the stampede rule but it keeps missing his attack and hence could not do some multiple trampling which would have made the battle more interesting, it did help to eliminate the opponent Baakjira which could have been a thorn in the flesh for my magic monsters.

Anaasth Soothsayer

This was the second heal tank I used, and this monster is special because it also has a cleansing ability so it is there to keep my team safe from any affliction by the opponent.

It was a flawless victory, the opponent could not eliminate one out of my monster!.

Hope you also know that starting in September, you won't be able to use vouchers to buy energy, so if you are like me and love using vouchers for energy, use all your vouchers now by purchasing 25 energy daily to play, it is only good and beneficial for those playing modern champ and has the max sps stake multiplier, I have been able to double my sps by using sps to buy vouchers and using the vouchers to buy energy to play.... Another important detail is that your win rate need to be above 50 to double the sps.*
