Hello Splinter Nerds

Every splinter have their key player, the monster that bears the burden of the team, we can call it the sacrificial lamb that sacrifice his life to let the team attain victory in the arena... Without this monster it will be hard to win or winning may not be certain...

The life splinter is one of the most used splinter in battles especially the moment it was bestowed two legendary summoners which are chanseus the great and grandmaster rathe the summoner that protect the splinter from magic invaders....

Summoners are good but what is their use without monsters to utilize their stats, zaku won't be that great without range attackers in the fire splinter, valnamor won't be so amazing with magic monsters in the water splinter. but this post is about the most important card in the life splinter

The shield bearer is one of the most important card in the life splinter, it bears the burden of the team and before you can think of destroying any life monsters during battle, you have to destroy him first and he is not an easy target, the protector must be protected so he was bestowed with outstanding abilities.....

• Taunt: This ability makes him the sacrificial lamb because all the opponent monsters will focus their attacks on him except those with the scattershot ability...

• Shield: This ability protect him from melee and range attackers, it reduces the damage done to him by monsters with this mode of attacks

• Return Fire: Nemesis to range monsters , it returns reduced damage back to any range monsters that attacks him...

Additionally he was blessed with long life and armor which makes it hard for opponent to take him down .... He is the shield bearer so he must also be guided by monsters he is shielding hence why we have some monsters in life splinter that protect him too... The likes of Truthspeaker, angel of light and divine healers that falls in the category of monsters that gives him more blood in battle but that is not enough, he needs monsters to repair his armor too and that is where the likes of armor smith, junker, loan boatman comes in too... So the protector is also well protected which makes the life splinter one of the most co ordinated on Splinterlands....

They work as a team

Here is a battle to explain my theory above, it was a battle using the life splinter and how the monsters work together to defeat the opponent

I used two healers in this battle[ truthspeaker` and the kitty summoner`] to supply more blood to the shield bearer, two armor repairer [junker and loan boatman``] were used as i was able to predict the opponent would come with melee and range attackers just like i did too...

The opponent used one healer which is his kitty summoner, he used one armor repairer and then a non attacking monster [warrior of peace] that has the ability to reduce all the three mode of attacks[ melee, range and magic] by 1.....

The difference in our line up was that he came with full attack while i defend, the good defends while the bad attacks... just kidding xd

To be fair, he almost had me in the battle, i was lucky because my sandworm attacked first and killed his own which gives me victory!
