Know your Conclave Arcana Monsters: The bloodline tribute Tactics
The conclave Arcana comes with some new abilities that players are trying to understand. It also gives the modern league a new vibe and less draw due to more options available to win in terms of monsters and tactics.
I made some mistakes with the new summoners when I started to use them, which cost me some battles. Let me use Bella Ratajowlski, the life archon, for an example.

This Archon has 2 abilities [Deflect and Shield] the mistake I made was thinking both abilities would reflect on my monsters when I used it only to get the shock of my life, I lost the battle and it was painful but then I learnt the lesson that the shield won't reflect in all monsters, it only works on monsters that share the same bloodline with the summoner.

Another problem was knowing monsters that share the same bloodline with the Archon, but I later saw the filter button that shows only monsters with the same bloodline as the used Archon.
When it comes to powerful combos, one I love to use is the one that deals with boosting the power of monsters that share the same bloodline.

The ability logo above is called Bloodline tribute, whenever the monster that has this ability dies, it boosts all the stats of its team that share the same bloodline with it... It is so much fun to see your monster's stats rapidly increasing by the death of the monster with this ability.

I had the chance to use the deadly combo when I was paired with an opponent in the two ruleset above, the first rule indicate that 1 gladiator can be used while the second rule indicate all monsters have corrosive ward which is fatal to melee monsters with armor, it permanently reduces their armor by -2 when they strike.
4 splinters were available, but the opponent and I had it in mind to use the life Archon using the bloodline tribute combo.
Our monsters were similar, just 1 monster was different, read along to know the reason why we came with similar monsters.
The combo is not possible without this card because it carries the bloodline tribute that triggers when it dies, 3 of my monsters will be triggered, and it also has a rebirth ability. This would make my monster gain the +1 to all their stats twice...This is the main reason I put it in the front position as a tank.
This is Commander Goff. I needed his resurrect ability to further increase the number of times Moribund will resurrect to 3 to further boost the stats of the monsters that share the same bloodline with it. The opponent used it for the same reason.
I was not surprised when the opponent also used this monster and we placed it in the same 3rd position], It has a healing ability, which allows it to survive more attacks from the opponent, it has an armored strike and 3 magic power, which makes its attack lethal to the opponent, at the end of Moribund death, his total magic attack increased to 6 but reduced by -1 because of the silence ability used by the opponent...

This is the monster that made the difference. I chose to use this monster while the opponent used Meriput Mossmender, even though Meriput supplies armor to his monster, Owklin was better in terms of the magic power and the execute ability, which gave me a higher advantage to win the battle.

This monster shares in the bloodline tribute and also has the silence
ability, which reduces the opponent's magic attack by 1.

This monster also shares in the bloodline tribute, and the execute ability was useful as it got triggered during the battle.
After the bloodline tribute has been distributed to all the monsters that share the same bloodline on both teams, the picture above shows their new stats. You can compare it to the first one I shared when it had not yet been triggered, and see the difference.
I won the game because of the two monsters with the execute ability, the execution got triggered twice, which resulted in the loss of monsters for the opponent and a sweet win for me... It was a close battle.

I saw the game, it was exciting. I think understanding the archon thing is always a big issue, and those lost games are inevitable, especially since you're getting to know how to use them. It was a close game though, the opponent just lost because of one little detail
Yeah very close! I didn't foresee who the winner was until the end.
