First Conclave Arcana Conflict Airdrop card : Zyrx The Emberglace Saved the team in battle!
Hello Splinter nerds

The much-awaited first Conclave Arcana Conflict card was airdropped yesterday, and as expected, the card is good in battles.
It has 4 amazing abilities and 1 debuff, which is the incendiary
that applies burning at the beginning of round 2, and this burning can spread to adjacent units. The main purpose of this is not to make the monster overpowered.
Zyrx has 2 modes of attack, it has +2 magic and +5 melee attack, which can be utilized in only the magic monsters can be used ruleset.
I had a chance to test it in battle, and the first thought that crossed my mind was the best dragon summoner to use in summoning this monster, and the only one that comes to mind is Nidhoggr with the blast stats.
I was paired with chiboulette
in a 3 ruleset battle.

The first rule indicates only even monsters can be used, the second rule indicates all monsters have the " knock out`` ability, which allows them to do double damage to a stunned monster, and lastly is the Wands out rule, which indicates only magic monsters can be used.
The moment I saw that wands out
, I knew it was the time to test Zryx The Emberglace in battle, and below is the formation I came up with to tackle the opponent.
The opponent used Lorkus
to summon the Death Splinter monsters, which is what I would have used as well if I didn't have it in mind to use Zyrx. Lorkus is water-friendly.
I used Nidhoggr to summon the fire monsters, and you can see my setup in the picture above. and I will explain the reason I placed the monsters in those positions.*

The Forked-Tongue Sage was the first monster in my team, and I used it for its magic reflect ability; the opponent will also suffer damage for attacking it. I was not surprised that the opponent also used it as a tank. It was able to eliminate the opponent's forked tongue before it died as well.

Continuum Seer was my second monster, it has a good speed but less health, I knew it would be the one to go down first cos I expected the opponent to also use a monster with magic reflect, I predicted right and her attack on the opponent forked tongue got her killed but her one time attack did a good damage.

Moxian rebel was my third monster. Since we had limited monsters to pick from, I had to prioritize the health of the monsters I select so they can last longer in battle. Rebel didn't do much, but at least it took one heavy hit from the opponent Arcane Skinwalker.

Ashen Cindergrim was my fourth monster; it has a silence
ability, which is needed to reduce the magic attack of the opponent. Less damage equals a greater chance at surviving. The opponent came with 2 monsters with the silence ability, which put him above me regarding advantage. Ashen took down the opponent continuum seer.

Here is the MVP of the battle Zyrx, I won't have been able to win the battle without it... His melee attack, execute, and the blast ability from Nidhoggr were the game-changers, and I bet the opponent was not expecting such a fatal attack from me. The burn almost ruined the battle, but in the end, I was victorious.
