Power To The Players: Launching My Community First SPS Node

I’m beyond excited to share that I’ll be running a Splinterlands validator node! You can cast your vote for my node (or any other) here . While I’d love your support, I truly believe it’s vital for everyone in the Splinterlands community to vote for at least one node—whether it’s mine or not. This node has been a long time coming. I have been creating content in Splinterlands since 2021, and my goal since switching my channel to be web3 focused has been simple: community first.

I'm tried numerous approaches with varying degrees of success, such as my Darth Squirrel NFT collection that I hand out for free to regular viewers on my streams and share streaming revenue with. I’m convinced that running an SPS validator node is the key to transforming this into a true community driven project.

This isn’t just my channel. It’s ours. By voting for my node, you’re not just supporting me, you’re claiming a stake in how we grow Splinterlands content together. I’m committed to collaborating with all of you to use these resources in ways that benefit the community most.

I had originally planned a long post about my ideas here, but the reality is this will all be fluid. You all will help me decide how to run this. Should we use the SPS to run giveaways on the channel to promote the stream? Should we airdrop SPS to Darth Squirrel holders? Should I convert the SPS into buying/renting more cards to allow me to run survival mode more often? Should I sell the SPS and spend it on marketing my beginner videos to try and get more players into Splinterlands?

A vote for this node means a voice in the direction of Splinterlands content on my channels.

My ultimate goal is to get back to full time web3 gaming content. Maybe even full time Splinterlands content if we can grow the game large enough. I know that I can only do that through all of you. It's how anything in web3 works.
