August Harvest : Market Prices for Plots/Cards and Gladius Packs Opening - Social Media Challenge [Eng/Esp]
Hello Splinterlands and Hivers friends! It's August and we're halfway through the season, so before we get started, let's do a quick recap of the latest developments. Last week, a new addition to the ranking system was released: Frontiers. In this format, we'll only be able to use Founders cards, which are part of the initiative to attract newcomers just starting out to a more simplified version of the game.

Ya estamos en agosto y vamos a la mitad de la temporada así que antes de comenzar hagamos un breve repaso de los últimos acontecimientos, la semana pasada se estreno una nueva adición al sistema de rankings: Frontiers. En este formato, solo podremos usar cartas Founders que forman parte de la iniciativa para atraer a una forma más simplificada del juego a todos aquellos novatos que están empezando en el juego.
So, we have three formats where we can dedicate a lot of our time. The main advantage of Frontiers is its independent energy bar, something that should also be applied to Modern and Wild formats.
Así tenemos 3 formatos donde podremos dedicar bastante de nuestro tiempo, la principal ventaja de Frontiers es su barra de energía independiente, algo que deberían aplicar también entre los formatos modern y wild.

For now, I just want to share my progress in the Frontiers formats, where we get chests by moving up the leagues. As you can see, they're mediocre, but I've said before that it's better for Splinterlands to be Splinterlands for new players so they have a clear understanding from the start. In Modern, we've already moved up to Bronze I, and in Wild, where we've advanced to Diamond III and II, the rewards in these formats are Rebellion reward cards.
Por ahora solo quiero compartirte mis avances en los formatos Frontiers donde obtenemos cofres al subir de ligas, como pueden ver son mediocres pero ya lo he dicho antes es mejor que Splinterlands sea Splinterlands con los nuevos jugadores para que tengan las cosas claras desde el principio. Modern que ya subimos a bronce I y wild donde avanzamos a diamante III y II, pero en estos formatos las recompensas son cartas rewards Rebellion.

For now, the great thing about Frontiers is the daily rewards, which guarantee Founder cards, which also have the ability to be gold, sold, and traded. Then there are the Modern and Wild rewards, which I continue to play religiously for the SPs and to buy epic and legendary cards, which are very few in number. But when it comes to reward chests, I don't particularly expect cards; what I'm interested in is the large number of merits they can give me to buy Gladius Cases.
Por ahora lo genial en Frontiers son las recompensas diarias que te garantizan cartas Founders que además tienen la posibilidad de ser doradas, venderse e intercambiarse. Luego tenemos las recompensas de Modern y Wild que sigo jugando religiosamente por los sps y para comprar las cartas épicas y legendarias rewards que son muy pocas, pero cuando se trata de cofres de recompensas no espero cartas particularmente, me interesan son la gran cantidad de méritos que pueden darme para así comprar gladius cases.

I'm already seriously considering dedicating myself more to Lands than to the main game, as it remains immersed in a labyrinth due to poor decisions in the past. The game's immediate future remains uncertain, but Lands has progressed quite well; in fact, many of my assets in CA are the result of what I've generated in my plots. In this context, my only two productive plots are in the Great Lowlands and my idea for now is to try to get more plots in the regions where I have my two main plots: Oxborough and Hamford.
Ya estoy pensando seriamente dedicarme más a fondo en Lands que en el juego principal, ya que sigue inmerso en un laberinto producto de las malas decisiones del pasado. Sigue siendo incierto cual será el futuro inmediato del juego, pero Lands ha progresado bastante bien, de hecho muchos de mis activos en CA son producto de lo que he generado en mis parcelas. En este contexto mis únicas 2 parcelas productivas están en el territorio de Great Lowlands y mi idea por ahora es tratar de conseguir más parcelas en las regiones donde tengo mis 2 parcelas principales: Oxborough y Hamford.
The prices for common and rare earths are still very good from my point of view, particularly the rare plots. But as you can see, those natural plots are not in my region; most are in the Peambrock region. We still have no plans to acquire any near our area.
Los precios de tierras comunes y raras siguen estando muy buenos precios desde mi punto de vista, particularmente las parcelas raras, pero como pueden ver esas parcela que son naturales, no están en mi región, la mayoría son de la región Peambrock seguimos si conseguir alguna cerca de nuestra área.
My biggest surprise was the epic plot. Yesterday I saw one in Peambrock for $78, and it's no longer available. The rest of the epic plots that remain are over $200, and that's a limit I can't go beyond.
Mi mayor sorpresa me la llevé con la parcela épica, el día de ayer vi una en Peambrock por 78$ y ya no esta, de resto las parcelas épicas que quedan están por encima de los 200$ y ya es un límite que ya no puedo superar.
For now, we can only continue evaluating the plot offers in this territory; my interest is focused on grain plots and the stone resource. These are the two resources I'm working on on my two plots. If I could get more plots that generate the same resources, that would be great because I would be on the path to expanding my domains and, of course, the resources I could generate.
Por ahora solo podemos seguir evaluando las ofertas de parcelas en este territorio, mi interés se enfoca en las parcelas de granos y el recurso piedra. Estos son los 2 recursos que estoy trabajando en mis 2 parcelas. Si pudiera conseguir más parcelas que generen los mismos recursos sería genial porque estaría en dirección de expandir mis dominios y por supuesto los recursos que podría generar.
Balance
Let's see below the status of our plots and how much they generated this week. The first is our plot in Hamford, which produces grain. The workers are mostly common gold ones, except for a golden legendary one I obtained in a reward chest. In total, it generates 42,668 grains each week, and it will cost us 17,640 grains to harvest that harvest. This is an expense I've been able to cover thanks to card rentals.
Veamos a continuación el estado de nuestras parcelas y cuanto nos generaron esta semana. La primera es nuestra parcela en Hamford que nos produce granos. Then we proceeded to our plot with the best workers. In Oxborough, our plot produces 19,404 units of stone weekly. The harvest cost is 50,400 grains. This increase is not only due to the difficulty of extracting this resource, but also to the quality of our workers, who are all golden epic cards with an epic title and common totem to boost production. Raising this land with my workers took me more than six months and required a significant investment. Fortunately, stone is one of the resources that sells very well in the market. When I harvested this crop, I decided to place all the stone I had in the liquidity pool so it could generate passive profits.
Luego procedimos con nuestra parcela con los mejores trabajadores, en Oxborough nuestra parcela produce semanalmente 19404 unidades de piedra, el costo de cosecha es de 50400 granos este incremento no solo se debe a la dificultad de extraer este recurso, sino por la calidad de nuestros trabajadores que son todas cartas épicas doradas + título épico y totem común para potenciar la producción. Levantar este terreno con sus trabajadores me tomó más de 6 meses con una inversión importante, afortunadamente la piedra es uno de los recursos que se venden muy bien en el mercado. Al recoger esta cosecha decidí colocar toda la piedra que tenía en el pool de liquidez para que fuera generando beneficios pasivamente.

For now, in our shared grain plot, we have enough resources to harvest our epic plot in the next two weeks. During that time, I'll place more cards for rent to balance the costs of harvesting the crops on these plots. We've brought our stone account to zero by placing it in the liquidity pool, so we'll start from scratch this August. Depending on the amount we generate between now and the first week of September, I'll evaluate whether to add them to the liquidity pool as well.
Por ahora en nuestra parcela común de granos tenemos suficientes recursos para recoger la cosecha de nuestra parcela épica en las próximas 2 semanas, en ese tiempo colocaré más cartas en alquiler para equilibrar los costos que toma recoger las cosechas en estas parcelas. Llevamos nuestra cuenta de piedra a cero pues la colocamos en el pool de liquidez por lo que comenzaremos este mes de agosto desde cero, dependiendo de la cantidad que generemos de aquí a la primera semana de septiembre evaluaré si también los sumo al pool de liquidez.
Evaluating card prices as workers in Lands/Evaluando los precios de cartas como trabajadores en Lands
In previous reports, when it came to finding efficient workers, my interest focused on golden epic cards since they have good production stats: up to 6000 PP if you max them out. However, with the large amount of investment that a single plot requires: energy source, staking Decs, and the type of biome that determines the type of cards you should choose, costs skyrocket very quickly, which is why I have reconfigured my interest in golden rare cards, particularly CL cards. The cheapest one is just over $16 at max and they generate 4K PP, a pretty good rate to start producing.
En reportes anteriores, cuando se trataba de buscar trabajadores eficientes, mi interés se enfocó en las cartas épicas doradas ya que tienen buenas estadísticas de producción: hasta 6000 PP si la consigues al máximo. Sin embargo, con la gran cantidad de inversión que una sola parcela requiere: fuente de energía, Decs en staking y el tipo de bioma que condiciona el tipo de cartas que debes escoger, hacen que los costos se disparen muy rápidamente por eso he reconfigurado mi interés en las cartas raras doradas, particularmente de CL la más económica esta en poco más de 16$ al máximo y generan 4K de PP una tasa bastante buena para empezar a producir.
However, golden epic cards are still under my radar, but since my interest is focused on common and rare plots, I think a moderate investment in these rare cards is a first step toward achieving a significant increase in production.
Sin embargo, las cartas épicas doradas siguen están bajo mi radar pero ya que mi interés esta enfocado en parcelas comunes y raras, me parece que una inversión moderada en estas cartas raras son un primer paso para lograr un incremento significativo de la producción.
I'm sharing the prices for fire and dragon cards because the resource I want to develop is stone, so I'm looking for plots with canyon or desert biomes. But in general, for other biomes, golden rare cards are quite affordable. You just have to consider that if you're going to block cards at their maximum level, you must have a maximum of 50K in Dec to block them.
Les comparto el precio de cartas de fuego y dragón porque el recurso que quiero desarrollar es el de piedra así que busco parcelas con biomas de cañón o desierto. Pero en general para otros biomas las cartas raras doradas son bastante accesibles, solo que debes considerar que si vas a bloquear cartas al máximo de su nivel debes disponer como máximo de 50K en Dec para bloquearlos.

We'll close out this review of our weekly progress with the results of our Brawls, which we finished today, and our performance was quite good for a Tier 5. We earned 13K in merits and over 216 SPs that go directly to staking. We'll take half of those merits to try our luck with 3 Gladius Cases.

I was already resigning myself to the fact that they ended up being 3 standard packs with only 1 epic, but the last pack was a real surprise! Larissa Kerato is the only gladiator in existence, and she's legendary, making her one of the hardest cards to obtain.
Ya me estaba resignando a que terminaron siendo 3 packs estándar con solo 1 épica, pero el último sobre si que fue una verdadera sorpresa! Larissa Kerato, es la única gladiadora que existe y es legendaria, lo que la convierte en una de las cartas más difíciles de obtener.

Well, friends! We're closing out this social media challenge with a flourish. This was the copy I needed to get Larissa to level 3! With this, we've achieved our third Legendary Gladiator. The rest are halfway there, so we just need a massive Gladius pack opening to upgrade several of them. I hope to bring you this event soon, which I've already put off for so long.
