Hi Splinterlanders! I hope this post finds you well!

Here is my entry for: SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge!


DJINN INFERNI

Edition: Chaos Legion

Element: Fire

Attack: Magic

Abilities: Giant Killer




Straight off, I have to admit that Djinn Inferni is not a card that I use much. When using the fire deck I concentrate on meelee for Tarsa and archers for Jacek. Magic doesn`t quite fit into my fire strategy. One of my favourite fire cards is the Antoid Platoon, which can withstand quite a hammering early on at a 4 mana cost. This leaves plenty of mana for 2 or 3 beefy damage dealers in second and third positions, such as Djinn Inferni. I looked for a battle with this combo for today’s challenge but couldn’t find one. Instead I have a quick blood bath battle for you where the fire team comes out winner with hardly a scratch.

In this battle Djinn Inferni is well suited the rule sets - back to basics and odd ones out

Together with 2 fat tanks in front of him and powerful archers to back him up, this fight was quite one-sided. The fact that my opponent picked a rather flimsy line-up kinda guaranteed a slaughter:

All my team needed to do was get rid of the Pelakor Deceiver, which was quickly done. Djinn Inferni fired three times and bye bye Thaddius!
