Splinterlands 101 - Ep 196: Ruleset Challenge - High Five

Welcome to episode 196 of my weekly Splinterlands 101 video podcast, with fellow @hiveaustralia members, and co-hosts of the show, @mattclarke and @giotrix
Recording the show this week from Cusco, Peru, at an altitude of 3,700m (If you're from the USA, work it out yourself, you're the only country in the world still using feet and inches) 🤠 we begin with a quick 1 minute product review of a gaming headset that I just bought today as I left my Steel Series headset behind in Guadalajara.

Then it's on with the show.
Matt gives an update on his bounties and who has claimed and collected the SPS delegations for them.

We take a look at land, in particular Matt's massive move up the wood ladder to position #4, and myself cracking the 50's for stone.
We discuss the new Conclave Arcana Rewards cards, in particular the 0pp in regards to land use and how we are seeing a coming division in card usage, separating playing cards from land cards.

Then it's onto the Battle Section of the show, continuing on with our Ruleset Challenge theme, utilizing the customable challenge feature of the game, and going through the rulesets alphabetically, one episode at a time. This week being the High Five Ruleset where only five units can be summoned.
So if you want to see some strategies based around picking your teams, defensively, or aggressively for this ruleset, then you're in the right place, because we share our reasons for team selection, as one of us shares our screen while picking our team. Then once the teams are submitted, we discuss our thoughts on the line-ups and make our predictions on how we think the battle will play out. Then of course the excitement of the real-time commentary as the battles actually play out 😎
