Recession
Asset prices love falling inflation. For example, inflation fell in the 1980s and asset prices boomed.
We saw a similar thing from mid 2022 until this year. Inflation fell from 9.1% to 2.3% today, and asset prices boomed.
Problem is we probably won't see inflation continuing to fall. The next read will probably come in hot, and the read after that as well. I also acknowledge the addicts are gonna do what they always do. print moar money this way or another, and pump up their portfolios. Sure this trick can only be played for so long.
My fear this cycle is underperformance of assets. The nostalgic signs of market nearing top is there, the problem is wider alts market underperforming in comparision to BTC. This alts underperformance is so much dragged, I have never experienced this level of pessimism and extreme reactions to tiny positive and negative news in the market. I won't be going into much details explaining why tariffs are just Trump's play with his billionaire pals, pump and dump pump dump games. I think recession will come in some months from now, though it won't be because of tariffs. Just saying, i still think there will be some up before recession.
