Investors and Greed
Investors are not as naive and vulnerable to emotional manipulation as you might think. They can see through propaganda and are fully capable of making informed decisions. Its just that their decisions rely more on analyzing market fundamentals, historical trends, and current economic conditions.
They base their investment decisions largely on rational and factual information - like market trends, economic indicators, company finances, etc. They don't just go with flashy advertising or emotional appeals. They're looking for solid reasons and data to back up their decisions - they're all about the facts, figures, and numbers. They don't just go with the latest fad or what a charismatic broker tells them ya know
The problem is that not all investors are always rational. Some will get caught up in herd mentality and make investments based on popular beliefs or opinions rather than actual analysis. Others may be influenced by biased information or inside information.
Also, some institutions and individuals, driven by greed and short-term gain, made risky decisions that they didn't think through. So they bet on financial products that were built on dubious foundations. When these bets went wrong, it was because they weren't grounded in sound financial principles to begin with, not because investors were tricked by propaganda.
Also, it's intriguing enough that is how its often portrayed in media, etc. that investors were swindled by flashy claims and glossy marketing materials. The truth is that greed and recklessness were what doomed many investors, not propaganda. A lot of people like to blame it on financial propaganda as it shifts the blame away from their own poor decisions.
They failed to exercise due diligence and sound judgment. In the end, they were taken advantage of not by propaganda, but by their own greed.
